We stayed here for a small getaway. It was a perfect place to stay at, not far from anything in Lake Charles. House very clean, host had clear instructions to get in and leaving instructions. Host has good communication as well! Will definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely home in a typical residential neighborhood, plenty of parking space for the occupancy numbers. We had our sizeable family drop in for breakfast and later for doughnuts and beignets. The only issue was the need for more coffee cups, hopefully the host will add up a few more to the cupboard. Lots a living space to accommodate any friends who might drop in, in our case that included the bride who needed a rest before the big day! A very cool retro oven and stove that still works great, no automatic ice maker, so remember to fill up the ice trays or buy a bag. A/C worked well, it was a comfortable temperature inside, even though it remained pretty warm outside. One bathroom, so work out your shower schedule, but washer and dryer were very quick, so we always had towels. (Bring your own laundry soap if you want to keep the loads going for yourselves.)Everyone had a wonderful time, Close and convenient to main roadways, shopping, and restaurants--recommended for a comfortable, but not fussy, stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property! It is a cute, comfortable house with all of the amenities that one would need. The beds are comfortable and the tv works off of Roku, which is easy to use. The backyard is fully fenced and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Booking with Latasha is always a pleasure. She is very quick to respond to questions. It is also an easy, close drive to the casinos in the area. We will gladly stay at this property again!

Modern 60's

So impressed with cleanliness and check in. Felt like I stepped back into the past with the stove, dressers, and record player with the rest of the house being up to date and fresh.

We stayed at this charming bungalow for the month of October. We could not have asked for a more welcoming environment. The decor is "retro" with a working stove/oven combo in the kitchen that is so interesting; it made cooking fun. The layout and furnishings are eclectic and well placed, making our stay very comfortable. The location is perfect with easy access to stores and all parts of the city. Also, the neighborhood was very peaceful and the owners and neighbors were delightful (responsive & helpful when we had questions). We definitely experienced southern hospitality!

The Best Vrbo I've ever stayed at, hands down!

The property was super clean. Fresh stained floors, fresh paint, an newly renovated backyard. We were allowed to check in early without asking. There were TV's in every room. The property manager reached out within minutes of me booking the property. The houe is located on a deadend street, an is the last house.Privacy is abundant. I normally stay downtown or in the casino area, but this location was also convenient!
