This house was perfect for our weekend trip to the lake. It had everything we needed. We loved the layout for multiple couples and the kids loved the loft. We wish there was closer access to the lake but the Marina was very short drive.

A wonderful relaxing getaway. We appreciated the items they had there, like a starter of hand soap, salt and pepper and other nice conveniences. Adorable and cozy, clean and well-kept home. This was our second time coming here and will return!

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage. We love it! It’s perfect for weekend stays or longer. The screened-in porch is large enough to host a catered sit-down meal (for instance, to celebrate a grandparent (which we’ve done)). A 2-story great room with fireplace & kitchen spilling onto the screened-in porch and a lengthy front porch (with Adirondak chairs) is perfect for family get-togethers (e. g. for fall football, which we’ve done too)!The whole property is well-maintained. Super clean. Great location too! A block off the lake so PERFECT for young children. No worries of them being in the water before you notice! And only a half mile from Sequoyah Marina and access to all Norris Lake offers!Great fire pit out back, which is an amphitheater canopied by old-growth sycamores, pines, and hickory, 100 feet tall!! Cleared and mowed underneath for children to play.This property can serve many needs and, as I said: perfect for families.

Looks Aren’t Everything

We rented this property for our daughter and her bridesmaids to spend the night before her wedding and for the honeymooners to stay for a few days after. It looked gorgeous, perfect and clean. What ruined their stay was the fact that all of the beds were extremely hard. No one was able to sleep comfortably.

Amazing property for a family of 7!

Amazing home that provided plenty of space for 5 kids to have their own space. There were some problems with the thermostat going up and when trying to get it back down to a comfortable level it wouldn’t cool down for a couple hours or more. The surfaces of the inside appear to be clean but found multiple dirty plates and utensils put away. The house does come stocked rather well. Some of the things we took down were unnecessary as they already had it. Would rent again but hopefully thermostat is able to be controlled by then. And housekeeping is a little better.

Family get away for basketball tournament.

We stayed in TN for 4 days, and 3 nights for our 2 daughters basketball tournament in Knoxville. Arriving on the property I immediately noticed the grass had not been cut in some time. The house as a whole was okay. The upstairs area had marks on the walls and ceiling above the beds. It didn’t feel clean to me. I didn’t let my kids sleep upstairs. Instead they slept in the guest bedrooms across the screened in porch which was not ideal. I specifically chose this house because it had a washer a dryer as I knew I would need to wash their uniforms each night. Friday night I opened the door where the washer and dryer was and I immediately was hit with a horrible odor. I opened the washer to find nasty black mold and hair or something in the rim of the washer and mold in the soap dispenser. The smell was horrible. Needless to say I washed the girls uniform by hand in the kitchen sink. The home itself is very pretty, however it looked like it needs a deep clean, and a good clean up outside, and around the house in general. I would not rent this home again.

Family stay for our girls to play in a basketball tournament in Knoxville.

The property manager was excellent. The property however was not. The grass had not been cut in some time. Pulling up to the house with the high grass was not appealing to me at all. I felt like it had not been taken care of. I immediately worried the same would be for the inside. For the most part the home was clean. My only very disappointment was the washer and dryer. I specifically looked for a home with a washer and dryer to wash my girls uniforms each night as they played several games from Thursday to Sunday. As I opened the door to the washer and dryer area I immediately got hit with a horrible odor. I opened the door to the washer and it was very apparent the odor was coming from the washing machine. There was black mold in dispenser. There was some type of mold or something nasty inside the rim of the washer. Needless to say, I didn’t use the washer. I let the property manager know immediately and she responded very quickly. She offered to reach out to Evolve to see about getting some type of refund. I haven’t heard anything yet from this. The walls upstairs had a lot of marks on them so it seemed dirty to me. It could use a good scrubbing or painting. The home overall is very pretty, but it just seemed a bit unkept.

We absolutely loved our stay! This lovely updated cozy yet comfortable lake house had original charm with all the amenities! Simple and perfectly furnished. Easy check in/out. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen, ac/heat and within walking distance to the beautiful lake. Perfect for a small family or 2 looking for a comfortable getaway. Close proximity to Clinton with it's amazing antiques, Appalachia Museum and all that Lake Norris has on offer. Would rec buying groceries prior to arrival. *Note stone pathway might be difficult for elderly however the back entrance is very manageable and the gas fireplace was not working.

This cottage was wonderful! It was very clean and inviting. It was also very well stocked with everything you could possibly need, from laundry soap, dish soap, trash bags, hand soap, lots of games, high chair, pack n play, etc.. So many things we usually bring or buy once arriving, but we didn’t need to on this trip. The welcome packet was also extremely helpful with lots of info about the cottage and surrounding area. We definitely felt right at home and welcome.

Perfect for families

My family of 6 adults and two children stayed here and it was perfect! The cabin had literally everything you needed to cook, clean, replenish toiletries, use the grill, fire pit. You name it, it was there. The loft was perfect for our two kids. They adored the playroom and toys. They did not want to leave! A very quiet neighborhood as well. Very short ride to the sequoyah marina. Cabin was so clean and comfortable! Definitely staying here again with our kids! Thank you so much!

This is such a beautiful property inside and outside. My family loved every minute. The rooms are perfect, so clean and comfortable. Everything that you need is there.
