Stay Happy as a Clam – Your Coastal Escape in Carolina Beach!

Welcome to Happy as a Clam, your ideal beach getaway with all the comforts of home! With the beach just down the street, you'll spend your days in the sand and sea on the Carolina Beach shoreline, enjoying sunrise walks, lazy afternoons, and endless ocean breezes.

The home has a private, fenced-in backyard with seating for the whole family to gather while grilling out or getting in a game of corn hole. There is also an open space with grass. On the side of the house, you'll find an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.

We also have an elevator which is helpful after a long day at the beach or bringing in your suitcases!

This home is part of a duplex, and we’re proud to host both sides! If you're traveling with a big family or a group of friends, it's the perfect setup—book the sister unit "Avalanched to the Sea" too and enjoy being close while still having your own space.

Very impressed and grateful to be hosted by Lynne. She even graciously shipped my group back a few items we left at this home. We enjoyed being able to take a short walk straight to the beach!

Lovely, spacious home stocked with everything my family needed for a comfortable stay! Super clean inside and tastefully decorated. Nice linens and hangers were a huge plus. An iron and ironing board would have been nice but the humidity outside took care of any wrinkles in our clothes! 4 blocks from public beach access made it a quick and easy walk to the ocean. Boardwalk and many bars/restaurants nearby. Although we did not use them, beach equipment, bikes, and a nice grill were available in the back yard. The access code was not auto-generated so I did have to reach out to the property manager at check-in but it was provided quickly and further communication was timely. The furniture on the master balcony and the cushions on the outdoor furniture under the pergola in the back were dirty so those areas were unusable during our stay but that did not diminish our overall satisfaction with this rental. Will definitely book this property again!

Can't say enough about this property and the host. It was exceptionally clean inside, perfect location and only blocks from the beach, kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need, decks and patio were great. Host was very responsive. Our family loved having open living room/ dining room/ kitchen where we could all hang out, and also loved having a bathroom for every bedroom. Awesome!
