About this property
Cozy Home by the Sea
The whole family will love this spacious & cozy 4 bedroom home, only 5 minutes from Marina Beach!
We are a 15 minute drive to Monterey, a 20 minute drive to Carmel, 40 minute drive to Big Sur, and 40 minute drive to Santa Cruz.
We are dog friendly and charge an additional $100 per dog, up to 2 dogs.
We offer many games, all sorts of cooking gadgets, and ready-made beach day equipment (towels, chairs, toys, etc.).
Our home can sleep up to 10 people, if 2 sleep on the provided air mattress.
About the Rooms
Bedroom 1 - The Sunrise Room (Queen bed)
The sun rises through the drapes of the sliding glass doors and creates a beautiful colorful sky.
This room has a walk-in closet and attached full-bath.
The sliding glass door leads to the deck which has a 6-person table and chairs.
Bedroom 2 - The Earth Room (Queen bed)
This is a simple and sweet room with a view of the
Bedroom 3 - The Jungle Room (Full/Queen futon)
This room is a bedroom/office. It has an adjustable standing desk, chair, and iMac Desktop with a Guest profile.
This futon bed is lower to the ground than a normal bed, but is very comfortable.
Bedroom 4 - The Sea Room (California King bed)
This is the biggest bedroom of the house. If your group requires an air mattress, this room would likely be the most comfortable to set up.
Sports Equipment (basketball, pickleball paddles, volleyball, etc.) is stored in the gray ottoman.
This room tends to be naturally cooler than the rest of the rooms. A space heater is provided. We recommend setting a timer any time you may use it.

Enjoy a peaceful meditation in this space. Use the yoga mats, block and foam roller to feel your best.

Please refrain from touching the items on the recessed shelves.
If you have children or animals, please monitor them in this space.

You may find extra towels, sheets, blankets, and beach towels in this closet.
Entry Hall Closet
You may find an iron, ironing board, 3 umbrellas, beach chairs, a cooler, and broom in this closet.
Outdoor Patio & Desk Area
Please note that anything that stays outside overnight will most likely be wet with dew by the morning.
The cushions for the chairs are stored on the deck in the outdoor crates. Feel free to use them as much as you like, but please return them to the crates before nightfall.
If you can avoid it, please refrain from walking in the sandy part of the lawn. That is where the dogs dig and go potty. Please be mindful of your step.
Settle in and make yourself at home!
About the House & House Rules
You may park 2 cars in the driveway and 1 car on the street in front of the house.
The front entrance has a keypad to lock and unlock from the outside. Simply type the code and the door will unlock. When you leave the house, push the lock button and listen for it to lock. Your unique code will be sent the day of check-in.
The living-room sliding glass door requires a wooden dowel to be placed behind the door to stop it from opening. Please make sure the dowel is in place when you leave for the day.
If you have pets, please wipe their paws upon entering the house. Towels for pets (and spills) are available in the basket next to the sliding glass door. Please remember to clean up after your pet.
You may see some deer, quail, crow, hawks, or coyote in the nature preserve that backs up to our yard, please do not feed or disturb the wildlife. Keep your small animals in sight.
When possible, avoid the sandy area of the backyard. This is where the dogs play, run, dig, and go potty. It is uneven ground so please use precaution.
Please be mindful we are in a neighborhood and to respect the neighbors, keep the noise at a reasonable level. Quiet time is 10pm - 7am.
You may help yourself to cushions for the outdoor furniture, in the crates outside. Know that anything left outside will most likely be wet with dew in the morning. Please put away cushions at night.
The front light switch is located next to the front door. Back light switches are next to the sliding glass doors.
Please do not smoke inside the house.
Please do not use the fireplace.
There is central heating, but not air conditioning. There are ceiling fans in each room, an electric fan in the TV area, and space heaters in each bedroom. We recommend setting the space heater on a timer.
Please no shoes in the house. Try your best to leave sandy shoes outside or by the front door. There is a hose at the front of the house to rinse if you like.
Please sort your trash, recycling, and compost. You may find trash bags and compostable bags underneath the sink. The large bins are on the SouthWest side of the house.
You may find cleaning supplies underneath the kitchen sink. You may find a broom and a makita cordless vacuum in the entry hall closet.
To enjoy the 75” Samsung Smart TV, use Roku to sign into your favorite apps. You may connect the TV to the JBL soundbar for premium sound.
You may find beach and bath towels in the hall closet.
You may find 2 beach chairs, a small cooler, 2 togo bags, and 3 umbrellas in the entry hall closet.
