Excellent guests. They left the area clean and neat and even started and did bedding and towels laundry. I was able to change over guest area quickly because of all they did for us. Martha and her sons all were very polite and great guests.

Joann B. and the rest of her party were great guests. In the 14 years that we have been hosting guests, the guest area has never been left better! They truly respected the property. Welcome back anytime! All they needed was a little guidance for local dining which is easy as we have some great local places to eat!
Quiet, Scenic and very serene.
Local wildlife we saw was a bonus!!
Grateful for the Amazing owners. Thank you, John & Kathy for providing the perfect stay & making us feel welcomed and comfortable.
Looking forward to the next stay!

Alan and family, you were great guests and really respected the property. Thank you for all you did on check-out as it really made our day easy. I hope we can host you again when you are in the area.
Although the accommodation may be considered by some to be somewhat outdated, the appartment is roomy and the welcome by the hosts more than compensates for that!
Very restful and renewing. A lovely property, I just wish the weather would have cooperated.

About the host
Hosted by John Fribley
Designed and built the Lodge in 1998. My father built the lake in the early 1960's. We have planted over 16,000 trees and also have a 20 acre older woods with walking trails around all 50+ acres.
Why they chose this property
Staying at our lake is like being at a private state park. You have great wildlife, hiking trails, bike path along west property line that runs between towns. Very restful. You share the outdoors only with our other guests and us. You have your own space with your own entrance so it is like having your own house to stay in while you are here.
What makes this property unique
**Currently the Pines Cabin is rented out for an Extended Stay. If it becomes available it will become an additional listing. Current guest is on year 5 of stay.
