The house exceeded our expectations in every way and is so much better in person than the photos suggest. We had an incredible time fishing, and the seclusion was exactly what we were hoping for peaceful and private and located close to so many key vista points on the peninsula. We saw plenty of elk right from the property, which was a real highlight. We also loved playing pool and just being outside, soaking up the surroundings and the quiet. Everything about the place made for a relaxing, memorable stay. We would most highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for the perfect getaway.

My husband and I plus our 3 adult kids and their spouses and 2 small grandbabies had the BEST time staying here! The beds were so comfortable, loved the long dining room table, enjoyed the hot tub, had a game tournament in the yard, used the fire pit for s’mores, even had elk outside the bedroom window one morning! Close to hiking and the beach. Truly a perfect setting! Would definitely love to come back!

This place was simply magical. Our family of 6, all grown adults, had the best time staying here. The house and mancave provided plenty of room for everyone to both have privacy as well as come together for meals and family activities. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed making breakfast and dinner each of the days during our stay. I think our favorite was the grounds, allowing for peaceful strolls to the river and the various well thought out landscaping around the property. The location was convenient to many of the Olympic NP sites and we were able to visit Hoh Rain Forest, Ruby Beach, Lake Crescent and Cape Flattery during our 4 day stay here.

This is an amazing property for family get- to- togethers. It is clean, in a wonderful location to explore Olympic National Park, and has great amenities. There is plenty of room indoors, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, large Dining area, and has a beautiful fire pit area for evenings outside together.

The Cabin was on a bend in the Sol Duc River with easy access. So my grandson started fishing as soon as we got there. We enjoyed the accommodations since the FIFA World Cup was on with TV’s in every room. We, also explored Ruby Beach and the Ho Rainforest which were close by. We had plenty of room to get away from each other when we wanted to. 3 elk met us on the driveway when we arrived and when we left. We also explored Forks, WA and its “Twilight” book series connection. Thanks to our gracious hosts for a wonderful visit.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the cabins. The property is the epitome of “PNW Getaway”. We enjoyed the fire pit a the walks down to the Sol Duc river. All the amenities made it so there was never a dull moment. Corn hole, fishing gear, fire pit, hot tub, pool table, foosball, and more. We were in town for an annual basketball tournament and would welcome a chance to return next year.

The two houses were spacious, clean and stocked with kcups and wood - very unusual. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and exploring the area. Loved the river and hot tub!

This is a beautiful, well maintained property nestled on the banks of the Sol Duc river. The accommodations were very comfortable & offered all the amenities of home. Shelly, the owner, was very responsive to all our inquiries. This was the perfect place for our family of 8 adults to gather & enjoy the peace & quiet of the outdoors. We totally enjoyed our time at the cabin & visiting Olympic National Park. We would definitely consider a revisit in the future.

Perfect Natural Setting

My group of 7 traveled all over Washington over 9 days. This 2 night stay was our favorite. The setting is amazing. It's private and perfectly maintained. If we ever come back this way this would be our 1st choice.

Incredible property, outstanding hosts.

The photos just don’t do it justice, it’s even more impressive in person. Our family spent a week here for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect backdrop to make those once-in-a-lifetime memories. I just genuinely don’t have anything negative to say.

Great Home Base for Exploring Olympic National Park

We thought this place was truly special, even better in person than what we imagined based on the photos. The location was perfect for exploring Olympic National Park. We LOVED having the game room for the family to hang out in the evenings, and the hot tub was great as well. The river was fun to explore and the fire pit it area is so nice! We did not have any issues with the internet and we did do some remote work from the cabin.

Ideal & Peaceful Home

We stayed with our immediate family and really enjoyed the whole experience. Communication between us and the owners was incredibly easy. The main house is exactly how I would like to have had my personal cabin (still just a dream) to be designed for us. This location was extremely well suited for going to all the hikes, sights, and beaches. I would totally recommend this home to anyone.

Magical

Loved everything about it, however may I suggest the fireplace be cleaned occasionally. Upon our arrival, we were delighted to see an abundance of chopped wood as it was a cold and rainy day, perfect for a roaring fire. The fireplace was so completely filled with ash it would have been dangerous to burn any wood and my husband spent over an hour cleaning. Beds were very comfortable!

Clean, Beautiful Home

My family and I stayed at this cabin recently. We have rented many vacation homes over the years but this one by far was the cleanest and most well stocked. The home is beautiful and it fit my family of 10 perfectly. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. It is a quick drive to Forks and in-between the beaches and Lake Cresent. Definitely make time to go kayaking on Lake Cresent it is beautiful, you can rent them at the Fairholme General Store. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home with us.
