About this property

Near Camdenton, Farmhouse Experience, Animals, Fun Lighting, Soundbar, Starlink

Approximately 30 minutes to Osage Beach and so much fun the lake has to offer! Approximately 20 minutes to Camdenton, Walmart and exciting attractions including caves and waterparks. 30 Minutes to Lebanon.

Our recently updated farmhouse has a front and back porch where you can often see wildlife in amongst our farm animals. Aside from our goats, horses, and cats, you will also frequently see deer, turkey and an occasional peacock from a neighboring farm. Our flock of chickens will be arriving soon.

The pond out front is currently covered in duckweed, while it is not pleasant to see, it is not harmful and you can safely use the provided canoe if you would like to check it out or take your kids for a short ride. We have plans in the future to turn it into a fabulous swimming pond, complete with a waterslide.

While this rental is for a private living space, including the porches, the home does have another residence connected to one end of it so the outdoor space is shared as in a campground setting. All dogs must be leashed and friendly. The cats and birds roam the farm freely but should mostly stay away from the residence unless you call them to visit.

We are excited to have you as our guest and hope you enjoy your visit so much that you will return again and again to be part of this exciting adventure with us. Please let us know if you need anything!

This was a beautiful property, very nice and clean. The host was kind and friendly. We had a great vacation and this was the perfect resting spot for us after our adventures. My kids loved the pool and had a blast seeing the animals, the peacocks made our day!

Jessica made this weekend so easy for us - such a friendly host. The house was clean and had plenty of room for our two large dog crates. The property - while off the beaten path - was SO relaxing and nice to be at. Both check in and check out is easy! Highly recommend choosing this property for your stay!

The condition of the property upon our arrival was already below what would reasonably be expected.The house had a strong odor that appeared to be from cats. There was a cat inside the home, and we also observed multiple cats outside the property. The dishes that had been put away in the cabinets were still wet, suggesting they had not been properly dried before our arrival. We were also told shampoo and conditioner would be provided, but they were not available when we checked in. We had to contact the host, who then brought them to us.The overall cleanliness and condition of the home were disappointing. The furniture throughout the house—including the dining chairs and living room couches—was heavily worn and sagged significantly when sat on, making the property feel unclean and uncomfortable. The pool was also completely green and unusable upon our arrival, which was not what we expected based on the listing.Additionally, there appeared to be people staying in a camper immediately adjacent to the property who were driving in and out late into the night. This negatively impacted our privacy and overall experience.

This is a retaliatory review because I kept their security deposit. I had the highest ratings possible until this false review. People like this are the reason why it is expensive and difficult to find a place that will accept pets. The evidence that I have could present criminal charges and at the very least will likely result in small claim court.
