Horrible condo

This property was a horrible experience. The condo is dirty Ants and roaches every day , all of the appliances are old and rusty. All the coffee mugs were cracked or chipped, dishwasher didn’t work, the soap never dispensed so makes you wonder if anything in the kitchen was clean when you got there. Carpet look like it hadn’t been cleaned . Rooms are dark and dingy , beds are uncomfortable. Overall it was a horrible experience ..you feel like you’re staying in somebody’s house rather than a vacation rental, regret the whole experience . Not worth the money at all. Owner has not put any time into making the home comfortable you can tell by the appliances and items in the kitchen for you to use .

Place is in good shape and a great location.

Good place with a view of the ocean. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to the big island. The grounds are well maintained and the pool area is awesome. It's close to Kailua-Kona, and easy to get to from the airport if you've rented a car. The unit manager (Shawn) was easy to reach of and was prompt in answering all questions we had.

Me and my family loved the stay, the house, the host, the weather and the island was just amazing.

We started in house J6 which was great but my son in law had a problem with the carpets so the owner offered us a new condo which were without carpets in the living room, that was great. The host was great, generous and helpful, he gave us a list of things to do and see, he made our stay perfect. We had everything we needed for cooking our own Christmas dinner. There is a good grocery store very close. We used the swimming pool a lot and the gym. The houses are perfect for families, I will recommend it to my friends and family. We enjoyed Hawaii, the nature, the beaches, restaurants, the weather and activity, it was amazing. Thank you Hawaii and thank you Shawn for making our Christmas vacation perfect.

Absolutely beautiful location! Right next to the beach, just a few blocks. Great location next to many restaurants and shopping as well as a few restaurants by the beach, Lava Lava! Place was beautiful, very roomy and clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Thanks so much! Cooper

Awesome Experience and Great location

Our party was comprised of 6 people total: 2 adults, and 4 children ages 9, 6,5, and 2. We were very comfortable; the space was perfect for our family in addition to the small lawn area where the little ones could play within earshot of us with the sliding door open in the living room. We enjoyed BBQ-ing and making meals during our stay. The home was clean with more than enough linens to ensure we had dry towels on the daily beach/pool trips. Pool/gym is very close, which was nice on the occasions the little ones wanted to swim without adults having to drive to the beach. Kahaluu Beach was very much enjoyed (very close....only a minute or 2 drive!) where we all snorkeled and swam with adorable sea turtles and beautiful fish. My six year old now has a passion for snorkeling. This beach is wonderful to snorkel; be sure to bring aqua shoes due to the rocky terrain. Next closest beaches we enjoyed were a 20-25 minute drive (Mahai'ula Beach in Kekaha Kaui Beach Park and Kua Bay). Hapuna Beach is about an 50 minute drive due to Hawaii traffic and speed limit restraints. All in all, great location for our family; a grocery store, Long's, shave ice, and restaurants were all within a few minute drive from the condo. Taking the other direction of Ali'i Drive leads you straight to downtown Kona area. Very convenient. Our families will definitely stay here again on our next big island vacation. Oh! Before I forget, Shawn was fantastic to work with. He was so prompt in his responses via email/text/phone. He also ensured during our stay that we had everything we needed. Very professional and a joy to work with. Thank you!

terrible owners, filthy place!

I was not happy with my stay here. The location is nice however, the condo it self is very filthy and was not clean when I got there. There was stains on the carpet and the condo was full of dust. The pillows and sheets had stains on them. I requested AC, and the owner never got back to me. When I booked the condo, it said sleep 8, but it's only sleep 6. I was not happy with this condo at all.

Beautiful area on the island to stay. The condo was great too. Clean, convienent and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay in Na Hale O Keauhou. Condo was very accommodating and clean. Pool and gym were perfect size and nice. Very quite area to be in. Loved being close to Kona-Kailua and everything seemed within a 20 min drive.

First time in Hawaii

My experience was fantastic! My vacation home was well equipped with everything my family and I needed to enjoy the beach, the city and the pool! I was quite impressed with the cleanliness and availability of items such as trash bags, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo etc. Everything was there for us.
