Our stay at The Tig at Lakeshore was great! Highly recommended this place. We stayed two nights but wish we had more time. Great views of the lake. Front porch was perfect. Outdoor dining table was great. Charcoal grill was exactly what I wanted. Fire pit in back was enjoyed by all. Used the sauna too. The kitchen was VERY well stocked. Very short walk to the public beach and access. You can walk the beach for miles once you get to the park access.Mill Pond Realty was our host. They were great to work with. Only strange thing for me was that you had to visit their office in downtown Saugatuck to check in. It’s almost a 15 minute drive to the property. Slightly inconvenient in my opinion. However, they were very accommodating for us.

Beautiful Home, but Disappointing for the PriceThe house itself is absolutely beautiful and unique! However, for the price, we were disappointed with several things. The lake view was okay, but we had hoped for a better beach view.Our biggest complaint was the lack of privacy. Several windows and doors had no blinds, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. People driving by could see right inside, so we spent most evenings in the bedroom. Even walking to the bathroom meant passing uncovered glass doors. The sauna also lacked privacy.The mattresses were terribly uncomfortable, and the beds were extremely low, making them difficult to get in and out of. The upstairs deck cushions stayed wet, making the seating unusable.It’s a stunning house, but comfort and privacy are just as important. Unfortunately, for what we paid, we probably wouldn’t stay again.
