Owner great communication. The house just was far below our standards. We ended up only staying one night until we could find something else. But it didn’t go completely to waste, one of us used it for a couple nights
Great Communication!I believe this is one of the better neighborhoods in Niagara Falls. The city, itself, is in some disrepair, but this neighborhood has a number of houses fixed up or being worked on, was walking distance to the falls, to a grocery store and to several places to eat.The home has been redone specifically for short term rental with updated style and basic finishes, appliances, furniture etc. Inside was clean, and the management responded quickly to the minor items we brought to their attention.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location
I had to take time to write this. It was the worst experience I ever had. The place was horribly dirty. When I complained they send a cleaning company. Even though I pointed out to every place that needed to be cleaned, they didn't clean it in proper way and i had to clean the bathrooms by myself to be able to take a shower. The worst part is that they have cockroaches at the property.
The price was comparable to two hotel suites (slightly more) but figured it would be more convenient to be in one place and slightly closer to the falls (maybe 5 minutes walk to edge of park but 25-30 to the actual falls/facility). The neighborhood is in rough shape with several condemned homes and majority in disrepair. This house looked nicely remodeled but seems only cosmetic and with subpar materials. There were extensive marks all over the walls and it's cheap flat and chalky paint that does not clean easily. Most the blinds had damage, there were signs of prior water damage, missing microwave handle, and structural stability is questionable with huge dips in the floor and steps would flex and creak heavily. The beds and table were clean enough but floors and other surfaces were disgusting and turned our feet black. All the furniture is small, cheap, and non durable but worked well enough (understand don't want to risk anything fancy but would be surprised if they don't need to replace every year). In case it's not clear this is set up to be two separate rentals with two entrances and smart locks between areas which could be nice for some but was a little annoying when you need the full space. Only one bedroom has a tv along with both living rooms. The kids did love the arcade machines though. State of house and area definitely not worth 300 per night, I'd say 200 at best.
We occupied both apartments of this house because our group of 8 was just that big. The house itself is nice- it's basic and we just needed a place to sleep. The biggest concerns were the sketchy neighborhood and the cleanliness of the house. One of the beds had lots of hair and animal fur in it when we pulled back the covers. Another bed had sheets with blood on them. Those of us who slept on the bottom floor (the bottom apartment) all had a hard time sleeping because we could hear every movement of the people upstairs. We recommend bringing noise machines or fans to help cover up the noise if you stay in the bottom apartment.
