Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Make sure garbage is securely placed in bear resistant enclosure by the driveway. Lids firmly on cans and doors on enclosure locked.
Please turn on motion detector sound machine to deter bears from hot tub.
Make sure all doors and windows are locked before you leave.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Signed rental agreement is required for rental. Complete house rules are listed in the welcome manual. A printed copy is in the home as well.

The home was comfortable and spacious for our family, with plenty of room for the kids to play and relax. The games were a great touch. The setting was quiet, scenic, and close to great local attractions, hiking, and restaurants. Check-in and out was seamless. Perfect Getaway!

Beautiful property and home with all the modern amenities and comfort you could ask for. The views from the deck and large windows were stunning. The home is also close to Hendersonville and Asheville so there are plenty of options if you want to venture out. The hosts were great to work with, very responsive and accommodating. We would highly recommend this home!

Beautiful and Comfortable Mountain Vacation!

The home, property, and mountain view were absolutely stunning! The home was gorgeous, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor deck was so fun as well with comfortable furniture, a grill, and hot tub. The location of the home was a perfect blend of mountain living and close proximity to Hendersonville and Flat Rock. We were able to enjoy hikes, waterfalls, and the Carl Sandburg home in addition to fun shops and eateries in the nearby towns. Highly recommend staying in this home!

We LOVED our long weekend here! It’s a beautiful house with everything you need to relax. We loved the wood burning fireplace, the coffee bar, the hot tub. and the beds were SO comfortable. Our kids really enjoyed the games and downstairs area. Bunk beds were cozy and comfortable. We were so sad to leave but said we must come back. The hosts were so welcoming and kept us updated with the weather on roads. Highly recommend this wonderful house!

Private, cozy mountain dream home!! House was very clean, game room was a huge it with the kids! Deck and hot tub were a wonderful place to hang out and take in the gorgeous views! Owners were easy to communicate with and provided great recommendations for our stay. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything to make a meal instead of venturing out to a restaurant. Cannot wait to stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful weekend in the mountains!

Why they chose this property

We chose this beautiful place because it’s amazing views and proximity to Hendersonville, Brevard, Saluda, Asheville and even Greenville SC. There are so many outdoor activities close by great mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting. Additionally there are terrific restaurants, wineries and breweries within a 30 minute drive. Apple picking in the fall is so much fun and Sky top orchard is 8 minutes from the house. If you like to see musicals or plays we are very close to the Flat Rock Play House. Above all though we love the quiet of sitting on the deck and enjoying the silence of 150 acres of forest.
