Cyclismo - Suite 2 | Close to Main St. | Wonderful Porch

Two luxury suites are available in this turn of the century Victorian Home located just two blocks south of Main Street, and overlooks Barons Creek. Shopping, restaurants and churches are within easy walking distance. As you can tell by the name of the home, your host is a cycling enthusiasts and even offers bike storage to his guests. The suites are decorated elegantly and with a modern flair. Your host has collected much of the art work and decorator items through his years of travel.

Upstairs (Suite 2)
A large suite upstairs is both comfortable and graciously elegant. A queen bed is in the bedroom and the bath has a clawfoot tub with handheld shower. The living room's love seat is placed to enjoy the flat screen television.

The kitchen is fully equipped with range/oven, small refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. A glass table is comfortable for four people. Just outside the suite is a long porch... perfect for relaxing and visiting. Comfortable seating areas are on the porch.

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
- Place all trash in designated containers.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed the stay we had at Cyclismo. Frank was a great host and gave us tips about what to do in town. The place was very nice and we loved the upstairs porch swing! We would highly recommend staying here.

Charming and lovely stay

We absolutely loved staying here! It was a very comfy place with great sheets (thanks Frank!) we both brought toiletries bags, however everything we could have needed was provided. We took the motorcycle down so it was really nice to be walking distance to Main Street. Safe, comfortable, will definitely look to book here again when we come back in town! Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay. This was our third time and we plan on coming back many more times. The room is so homey. It has everything you could possibly want or need. Frank, the host, is very nice and friendly. The people in the main office are always nice and welcoming. Location is great. Walking distance to main street. We are already planning our next visit and can't wait!!!

Phenomenal experience.

Place was clean and nice. Frank was great. Probably the coolest touch was all the DVDs you could watch. Everything was within walking distance. The best bar in town (Lincoln st.) is just a block or two away. The 290 shuttle picks up just a few blocks away. This place was seriously perfect and we're definitely coming back!

Frank has put so much though and love into creating a comfortable and cozy home away from home. I highly recommend staying at either Cyclismo (2 or 3). If you're a cyclist, this place is situated in heaven surrounded by endless beautiful and traffic-free roads. We will be back soon! Thank you, Frank.

The Cyclismo Room 2 apartment (2nd fl) was very spacious, clean & comfortable, with a kitchen, LR and porch! FYI to anyone with mobility issues: get one of the ground floor apartments. The stairs to our rooms were steep, the claw foot tub has no railings or shower curtain, & shower head must be hand held.

Great weekend stay

This is a great location in what has become an even better place to get away. Fredericksburg has really exploded in terms of restaurants and music, both of which we enjoyed without having to move our car. And right around the corner was a nice HEB. And that's without even giving kudos to the great place itself. It is wonderfully curated with art and articles from around the world. We took advantage of the large balcony to sit in the swing and watch the rain. It had a very European feel, but with all the modern conveniences that we needed. Could not have had a better place for the 5k race we were in town for. Walked to and from it as well. A real hill country gem!

Comfortable and close to everything

My husband and I spent a weekend here and had the best time. Linens and bed were super comfortable. I was unsure of the sprayer in the tub but it worked out great and had wonderful water pressure (I have thick hair and need good pressure to get conditioner out lol). The house is two blocks from Main Street. We walked everywhere this weekend. It was perfect! We would definitely stay again.

Relaxin' in F'burg

My hubby and I enjoyed our very chill stay in this lovely property, within walking distance of Main Street and Rockbox Theater where our concert would be held. We really had a nice time just sitting on the upstairs covered porch, listening to music, snacking, and quaffing our bevs. Kitchen and frig were nicely stocked and the bed comfy. Thank you for a great quick vacay!
