Nicely furnished ground floor condo located in the popular Bay Oaks resort on Siesta Key. Covered parking just steps from the unit. Living room has comfortable leather seating, with a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, master comes with walk-in closet.Well stocked kitchen with dishwasher. Full size washer & dryer in the unit. Fully air conditioned, plus ceiling fans in every room. Free WiFi is provided in the unit as well as at the clubhouse. TV's in the living room & master bedroom. Enjoy the large heated pool just yards from your door, and take a short stroll through the beautifully landscaped grounds to the waterfront bayside fishing dock and BBQ grill/picnic area where dolphins can be seen passing by.

Also offered at the resort are tennis courts, sauna, showers, recreation room with pool table and a lounge where various social gatherings are scheduled. Walk 4 blocks to Beach Access #12, or hop on the free Siesta Key Breeze Trolley right in front of the resort and ride to the public beach pavilion (concession stand, restrooms), Siesta Key Village and Turtle Beach.

We enjoyed our stay. Love that we were on the first floor. However, even if weren't, there are elevators. Nice pool, and dock to sit on and watch the boats go by while sipping coffee. Condo is nice and clean but does need updating.

70’s fiasco

Siesta Key is nice. We go on few vacations. We rented two condos in Bay Oaks. One was beautifully decorated, clean and fully stocked with pool and beach essentials. This condo was in terrible condition. There was an actual hole in the ceiling of the bathroom where you could see pipes. Cabinet doors in kitchen loose. This condo smelled bad. It was apparent that it has not been updated since the 70’s. Worst money I have ever spent. Made our trip just feel sad.

The condo has not been remodeled recently, and therefore is not priced as expensive as some of the newly remodeled units. It is in good condition, and we have guests return year after year. The reference to holes in the bathroom ceiling are unfounded, no holes are in the ceiling. Our cleaning crew is very thorough, but if you see something not up to par during your stay just let us know and we will correct it immediately.

Property is in MUCH need of updating everything. Appliances, furniture, drapes, EVERYTHING. We kept shoes on, feet would be black otherwise. Carpet is disgusting. Leather furniture in living room is cracked all over. Queen mattress is so hard and lumpy our backs were killing us! Needs updated keyless entry instead of carrying a key around to lock/unlock doors. beach gear needs replacing. Found one umbrella that worked once we played around with the already half broken fishline tying a piece together in the center to make it go up. No auger so borrowed from someone on the beach. bike in closet had two flat tires, and chain needs to be worked on. No bike pump. pillow protectors and decorated pillows on bed needs to be washed. they are soiled. Bay view at back of property is beautiful.

The fishing gear and bikes referred to in the review belong to the owner and are for owner use. They were in the locked owner's closet and not to be accessed by renters. A thorough deep clean, including carpet cleaning, has been done at the unit. The appliances all work, but they are not new, which is reflected in the price. We have had no other complaints about the bed being uncomfortable.

This was an ok place, but needs major updating. The 2nd shower floor was soft. Probably some rotting underneath. The beach access was further than a seven minute walk. The pool and tennis courts were great!!

Great place to stay!

Wonderful time spent at this very nice condo. Spent a lot of time poolside and some days at the beach...jump on the trolley and there in just a few minutes. Think previous reviewers were being nit-picky, place isn't perfect but very clean and really, who cares, got me in sunshine for a moth!

A nice holiday

We stayed with our two teens and our toddler. The condo was nice and location convenient. The older two could fish off the dock or walk down for ice cream. We really enjoyed the location and complex was peaceful and quiet.

everything inside the unit was great! there was an issue with maggots outside the door and terrible foul smells coming from dumpster area initially but they took care of it quickly.

Siesta Key is the BEST!

Check in worked great! Disappointed with non—access to beach other than driving. Communication could have been better about beach access. Furniture and appliances dated. Ceiling fans in all rooms but master bedroom, found that unusual. All this being said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with daily walks on beach (chairs provided by unit to read books on beach) and the fine reastaurants we ate at!

The closest beach access by walking is about 4 blocks from the unit at beach access #12. Hop on the free Siesta Key Trolley in front of the complex and ride to any beach access on the island.

Almost every year we are in Bay Oaks, just different apartments... like at home. This year we were in E-81 and really we enjoyed our vacation. In E-81 you have everything what you need,so welcoming and home feeling. Mr. Harris was so professional and responsive. Thank you for everything... we can’t wait for next year vacation time... Unit although dated was clean and close to all my favorite places and would live to come back 😘

The only problem was the a/c was not working correctly not cooling enough, we thought maybe because it was so hot out. We checked in on Thursday the rental company was very helpful and accommodating but we left early in morning and came back later in the Evening just figured a/c would catch up. Great location, needs met

Wanted a quick beach getaway but Tropical Storm Alberto was a bit of a third wheel. Unit has everything you need for the beach and is in a good location. There's a lot more to offer at the south end of the Key now and a little less crowded. We enjoyed our stay and the bits of sunshine when we could find it.

The place was great.

The only issue we had is there is not a beach access point for half mile down the road and there no bathrooms at that access point. There are shuttles but only come around once every half hour.
