We stayed here as a family of five for three nights, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The villa is extremely comfortable and thoughtfully designed — spacious, well maintained, and easy to settle into right away.The private dock was a major highlight. We swam, jumped off the dock, and used it frequently for transport via private lancha, which made getting around Lake Atitlán both easy and enjoyable. Having direct dock access removes a lot of friction from moving between towns.The hot tub was incredible, especially at night. Stargazing from the jacuzzi with the lake completely quiet around us was one of the most memorable parts of the trip.What truly set this stay apart was the host, Claudia. She helped arrange everything — private shuttle, lanchas, and tours — and made the entire experience seamless. Her communication was proactive and reassuring, which is invaluable in Atitlán.One thing to note: getting to Panajachel is not straightforward unless it’s planned for in advance. Because of that, I would strongly recommend taking advantage of the option to hire a chef — it’s something we would absolutely do next time.I would highly recommend this villa to families or anyone who wants to enjoy Lake Atitlán without dealing with logistics. Between the comfort of the villa, the private dock, and Claudia’s support, it was an effortless and memorable stay. We would happily return.
