Hot water is provided by a 2.5 gallon heater that isn't capable of providing hot water for a shower of more than 2 minutes. This might work for some, but made my family miserable for our entire stay. If I had known this, I wouldn't have booked the property at any price. Property is generally in poor condition including holes in the exterior siding, water stained ceilings and floors, sloping floors, furniture in poor condition, etc. A barely functional set of cookware, dishes and utensils was provided- not enough bowls, ancient worn non-stick cookware, mismatched yard sale utensils. If I had known, I would have brought my own. Cooling is provided by a small A/C unit in the loft and a portable A/C unit on the ground floor. We didn't use during our stay.

Thank you for your feedback.
We were disappointed to read these concerns, particularly since our local property managers checked in during your stay and no issues were reported at that time. Had we been made aware of any problems, we would have gladly worked to address them.
For clarification, the cabin is equipped with an on-demand tankless water heater, not a 2.5-gallon water heater. We have not received similar feedback regarding hot water from other guests.
Our cabin is a renovated riverside property, and we strive to represent it accurately through our listing photos and description. We continuously maintain and update the property and regularly review guest feedback to make improvements.
We appreciate all guest comments and remain committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for future visitors.
Cabin was great and the new deck offered great views of the St Lawrence river. We were able to watch multiple big ships go by. We will be back next year, thanks again!!
Host has added elec hookups for Boat charging stations. Extremely helpful they really show they want you at their cabins. Warm receptions and fast service if anything needed.
Lovely cottage. Exactly as described.Communication was excellent with the owner and the property manager. A beautiful view off of a newly updated deck. Privacy and pristine surroundings.

Beautiful and well maintained cabin right on the river. Peaceful setting and a wonderful escape.
Wonderful property and location, right on the water. Nice place to relax, and also a good home base for sightseeing in Canada (Montreal, Ottawa, Brockville is really nice too).
Absolutely the perfect place while staying in the thousand islands. Quiet and private but still close to A Bay with just a short drive to multiple grocer options. We will definitely be back!
Great location. Comfortable and clean. Site managers were very responsive. Photos are about right. Water toys are in disrepair or missing, but they tried to fix that.
