Perfect place to stay with a small dog. Everyone was super comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, and utensils, allowing us to cook all of our meals there. The area was super quiet and easy to find. Overall, a very peaceful stay!

Yes we took our dog. We enjoyed the screened in porch and deck attached to it. The owners went above and beyond for us. We will definitely go back. The amenities were awesome!

This was the perfect cottage. It was extremely comfortable had all the things we needed!!

We rented this for our anniversary vacation this year and we could not have asked for more! The owners were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay special and amazing! So cozy and comfortable we will absolutely be back SOON!!!

We had a great time! Boat launch 10 minutes down the road!! Great WiFi service to add my favorite movie channels! Nice & cool when it was 90• outside! 2nd time we have stayed here last two years. There was a added bathroom that was done and it is very nice! Love this location perfect for our little dogs nice, quiet, and close to the lake.

We were looking for a quiet getaway and we struck gold! The location was off the beaten path, the house was gorgeous (and that porch...WOW). Everything was perfect and better than expected! Somehow the porch, and the birds singing, made my morning coffee taste even better than ever!

Very cute cottage in the mountains of Dale Hollow. Owners had everything you need for your stay and then some. Home has been tastefully decorated. Wish we could have spent more time enjoying the place. Will come back and spend time at the fire pit!

Property was gorgeous and view amazing! You can see the lake from the screened porch. I wish i had more time there but this was a short trip this time. House was stocked with whatever you may need. Check in and out super easy. If you love the woods I highly recommend.

Always great to be near Dale Hollow

Loved the house. The layout was great. Amenities were fantastic. Loved the screened in porch. About the only thing we wished was that there was more tinder (small limbs) for the fire pit. We had a hard time lighting. Everything else was superb!

Everything was amazing about our stay! We loved the location and it was perfect for our 5 year old doodles! They loved the screened in porch as much as we did! There was plenty of room and it was warm and cozy and the bed was so comfortable! We slept good; we relaxed with ease and the owners of this property care about your safety! We definitely will make this our go to place to stay when at Dale Hallow! Absolutely no complaints!!!! We loved it! Owners were impeccable with communication upon arrival too; loved knowing what to expect! (Having directions upfront because of reception of cell services was a huge bonus!)

We stayed at the house for the Thanksgiving tradition of fishing Dale Hollow. To our disappointment the lake was so low that we wasn’t able to launch our boat. We tried 4 different ramps (all were out of the water). So, with that being the situation we stayed one night and left the next day.

This place is a great value! Matt was very responsive and made the stay hassle free. The house was well maintained, extremely clean, well stocked with plates/silverware/pots & pans/towels/etc. The water pressure was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, and WiFi and Netflix are there if you want it. There is parking on the "street", a.k.a secluded gravel road, as well as next to the house. We only required two spaces, but you could easily fit 4. It's conveniently located near Holly Creek Marina, and about a 25 - 30 min drive to Dale Hollow State Park Marina, which is where we went during our trip. I would recommend that you stock up at the grocery store prior to arriving though as the food options are limited, and a good distance away. Overall, there was definitely no buyer's remorse and will check availability here if we ever plan another trip to Dale Hollow.

Nice blend of modern and rustic, but not much of a view.

We stayed over christmas break because the wife's family chose a different larger cabin nearby for a family meetup spot. My wife, 1 y/o child and dog stayed here because the thought of a 1 year old trying to sleep in a cabin sleeping 9 people and 3 dogs would be bad. We chose correctly. Can't speak of the area, as we didn't do anything locally besides stop for lunch at a bbq joint. We were not there to do anything "lake life" related. But this property was perfect for a handful of quiet nights with a restless 1 year old. Very clean. Newly remodeled modern bathrooms. Good enough beds. All the kitchen appliances. And pet friendly. Internet was fine. Smart TV. T-Mobile signal was strong. Nice porch/deck to relax but there isn't much of a view. Owners live right next door. They were respectful of our privacy and helpful when needed. There aren't many other neighbors, or civilization to be concerned about. Of course that may be different in other seasons. Would stay here again? Yes... but reality is we'll never return to the area. Cheers!
