Home in shaded natural FL fauna with birds galore!
Enjoy a peaceful stay in our fenced and gated home surrounded by nature. The private 1-bedroom home features a covered porch for relaxing and bird watching. The cozy bedroom loft features a comfortable queen bed and separate A/C for the perfect night's sleep. Amenities like WiFi, a hair dryer, games, and well equipped kitchen help guests feel right at home. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and additional amenities. Birds are in abundance and a daily visit from American Bald Eagles. Owners live on opposite side of property (in separate home), working towards sustainability in their greenhouse. The property is completely surrounded by a 14-20’ metal fence with gates for ultimate privacy. Outdoor furniture, loungers, fire pit, board games and grill are readily available to use. This is a place to unwind after a day of travel or reboot and soak in nature. We are new to VRBO, but not to hosting. Check out our reviews on the other hosting site that starts with an A!

About the host

My husband and I have been together since we were teenagers. We met here in Florida and have spent the majority of years in South East Pennsylvania. We raised our son, Kaya surrounded by our family on a small farm. After many years of snowbirding to FL with our RV and the inability to travel outside the country, we bought our project property here in Hudson, FL. We hope you enjoy our little project that we call, In The Woods.
Why they chose this property
Hudson is a great town, situated between the mermaids of Weeki Wachee and the beautiful white sand beach of Clearwater. We are 45 minutes north of Tampa and 45 minutes south of the manatees of Crystal River. Our compound is nestled in an agricultural neighborhood surrounded by small backyard farms. Wildlife is in abundance due to our proximity of the Aripeka Preserve.

Our compound provides complete privacy. We’ve created our own gated community.
