GET AWAY from the cold, in the heart of Weeki Wachee and literally minutes to restaurants and attractions, the Mermaid Hideaway will make you feel right at home with all the essentials you want in a home away from home. Be sure to visit the Little Salt Spring, in the neighborhood with a swimming hole and the Weeki Wachee Springs State Park, with the mermaid show, Buccaneer Bay, Sunsets at Bayport, Hikes at the Preserves, rent a boat or kayaks and Rogers Park! THE local restaurants are a must!!

The master bedroom has a king size bed, TV, dresser and a walk-in closet.

The bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

The guest bedroom has a bunkbed with a full-size bed on the bottom and twin on the top, TV, dresser, pack n play in closet.

The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

Loved every minute

Thank you for the amazing vacation! Our 10 year old daughters loved fishing out the back door and all of the great games, we enjoyed the brand new kitchen fully stocked with every cooking utensil possible! We especially loved being able to bring our pups along! Thank you!

Home was clean and well appointed. There is one large king bed with a firm mattress, one queen under a single bunk. Queen is semi soft. Home is on the water but access is just over the retaining wall. Not sure you’d want to try it. We decided to just rent canoes at the upper deck rental shack just up the road. Saw manatees yippee! Check in was easy. Home had plenty of towels and toilet paper. Plenty of pans, a nice fridge for snacks and waters. Home is at the end of a quiet residential area where no random kayakers come which is nice. One manatee actually wandered down our canal! We saw lots of mullet in the canal which our son was obsessed with trying to catch lol.

Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We really felt at home and our two puppies really enjoyed it as well. The bed was super comfy and the bed linens were plentiful. The mermaid theme was really spot on throughout the house. We didn’t have children with us but there was definitely plenty of toys/activities to keep the little ones entertained. The location was perfect and made getting around easy. The host was incredibly communicative and made check-in seamless. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! Can’t wait to come back!
