About this property

IMPORTANT INFO AT BOTTOM! This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Living room includes 40 inch flat screen LED TV, comfortable hide-a-bed queen couch that can sleep two, if necessary. There are also three recliners . Dining room has glass table with four chairs as well as a built in bar that has two chairs and three barstools. Kitchen is nice with a two bowl sink, dishwasher, two door refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Kitchen comes fully stocked with pots ,pans, dishes, outdoor cooking utensils, and much more! Washer and dryer available in 2nd bedroom of house with an additional front loading washer and dryer in the exterior bedroom. The Master bedroom has 32" Roku LED TV, king bed, closet and private bathroom. Second bedroom has a full/twin bunk bed with pull out trundle twin bed. The second bedroom has a 32" Roku TV. The third exterior bedroom has a King bed, 23" LED TV, microwave, small refrigerator, and two dressers, one with mirror. Please note that the exterior bedroom has a front entrance and a rear entrance by the upper deck. The exterior bedroom does not have a bathroom. The bathroom is inside about twenty feet from the front door of the bedroom. We also just added a Basketball Hoop by the carport! There is a needle to fill the basketballs in the miscellaneous drawer beneath the silverware drawer. You can enjoy your time lounging on either of the two decks under the gazebo with screening on the upper deck or under the 8' x 20' covered section on the lower deck by the water complete with his or her lounge chairs right next to it! Outdoor chairs with firepit are located outside the exterior bedroom's rear french doors. Enjoy cooking out every night on the gas grill or dining out at local restaurants- Please note that there may or may not be gas for the grill. If there is no gas, you can get it filled locally.

The Manatee Hideaway's canal has access to the main Weeki Wachee River and Gulf access. The Weeki Wachee State Park is only minutes away!! There is one stilt home between the two properties that we do not own. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ONLY RENT MONTHLY FROM JANUARY THROUGH MARCH!

Having a large family get together? 18 people between the two houses sound about right? We try to keep our home(s) a superior value for families, but we must also take inflation into account when setting rates!

No car parking in the grass except for an empty boat trailer. Parking for 2 cars in driveway. There is no additional car parking onsite or on street.

Do not mess with/alter the lighting on the deck or dock. The lights are set to a timer for guests. 4 lights have switch. 1 Gazebo, 2 Lanai, 1 Sinkarea

Great value

We were lucky enough to catch a last minute getaway here. To find a home with three bedrooms, and two bathrooms at that rate is hard- especially at a very reasonable rate. The inside was very comfortable and clean, the outside space is really well thought out with spectacular decking and a great location.

Location perfect

Fantastic back yard. Dead and live roaches seen inside during our stay. House is showing signs of age, floors creak and shake when walking. Some cosmetic upgrades are evident, but it feels like lipstick on a pig. Kayaks in disrepair; but we fixed them. Toilet handle broken; we fixed that too. The main door to the outside locks automatically every time it closes. Gets annoying, especially when the keypad is worn, making the numbers invisible. Tons of junk, especially in the kitchen, stuffed into shelves and obviously not clean. No spare trash bags, and only 2 dishwasher pods. Lots of fun if you stay outside, which we do. If you have any standards for cleanliness and organization, you may want to skip this place. We've stayed in this neighborhood multiple times, and there are much nicer options!

Motorcycle trip

Easy to get too. Nice area. Many things to do and see close to property. Nice outside area. Bring insect repellant. No seeums bad on deck area. Living area has all we needed. Overall was a great experience. 👍

We have been vacationing in Weeki Wachee for years. My wife grew up on Sebring Street and brought me down here to enjoy the Nature Coast. When it dawned on me that I truly loved it here more than other vacation locations (after several years of vacations), we decided to purchase our own home here. In turn, we would like to share what we love with you and your family! We see manatees EVERY time we visit. Manatees are gentle and majestic creatures. Just watching them swim is quite relaxing. We love our experiences every time we come to Weeki Wachee.

Why they chose this property

Alot of the reasons are listed in the "about you" paragraph, but I will elaborate further..... The neighborhood our house is in is quiet and relaxing. We really enjoy eating dinner right on the water courtesy of the glass table on the lower deck/dock as the sun sets and goes down. We get almost daily visits at our dock from the manatees. You can fish right from the dock, and bring your boat!

What makes this property unique

We chose this property because of the decks and the dock. Easy access to the gulf for some really good fishing! Another amenity was the exterior third bedroom with a front door and a rear entrance to the decks via french doors. The spacious living room was another thing that caught my attention. Our entire family could sit comfortably. Also the dining room has a built in bar....seating for all.
