About this property

Great modern home on the water! floating dock,fixed dock and a ladder. Jump in and enjoy the 72* water so refreshing in the summer heat. floating in the water behind the house with your friends or family is the best part of being just off the river on a nice clean canal away from the busy, areas of the river. 4 Kayaks included, living area is up on the second level. 5 minute kayak to Rogers park, Upper deck, 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath and views from the beautiful screened Lanai. Kayak the Weeki Wachee River to see the manatees or you can rent my small skiff $80 all day, this is to try and accomodate seeing the river better, to take the entire 5 mile ride up the river to see it all. Your upper level screen lanai overlooking the water has seating and when you come down stairs to the back yard there is a Grill, Fire Pit and seating so sit and relax around the fire but don't forget your favorite beverage. Home has Vaulted Ceilings, Newly remodeled and no expense spared in the Kitchen with beautiful cabinets all soft close, Quartz counter tops, walk up Bar counter, touchless sink faucet, and high ceilings. From the Kitchen or Living room facing the water there is Triple Sliding Glass doors that open to the balcony patio screened lanai, the mornings are the Best to have coffee out on the porch overlooking the water, you may even see some Manatees swim by. Our canal of fresh spring water is why the manatees are seen in our canal, they choose a quiet section of the waterways to come and relax from the many kayakers and boaters on the main section of the river.

Living Room: Couch and Recliners are electric relax and watch TV /Internet Wifi on the 55" Roku TV, I also have Amazon Movies and TV shows. If you have subscriptions at home you can sign in to our tv and watch your shows and then just delete it when you leave.

Master Bedroom: has a King Bed, Large Walk-in closet and a beautiful view of the water from the master bedroom.

Master Bath: has a nice size walk-in shower, also a Jetted tub so you can soak and relax after a long day on the water having fun.

Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, good size closet.

Bath 2: Large Walk-in Shower. Teak shower seat.

Seating areas on the upper patio and there are stairs down to the back yard with additional patio table, umbrella and chairs. You will have the Floating dock with seating, you may bring your boat, jet skis, etc., to tie up at the dock.

This is NOT a hotel. This is a home please be respectful and tidy. Our cleaning lady still has a 3-4 hour job to do. Everything is disinfected.

Please take your shoes off before entering the master bedroom, just trying to keep the carpet looking good for as long as possible. Thank you.

Sister vacation

Awesome! Loved the neighborhood and quiet canal. Property was very clean. Loved the screened upper deck. Everything as listed. Several manatees hung out all week and we also say 2 dolphins during the tornado warning. Fabulous vacation week. Would definitely stay there again. Thank your so much Mary!!!

Fourth time😊

This is our fourth time staying here and that is a record for us. We would never continue to come back to any place unless we were 100% satisfied with our experience. In fact, there were times we wanted to a stay here but it was already booked. You cannot go wrong booking here. Mary, our host, is a pleasure to work with. We will be back again for sure.

Loved our stay

Clean, modern and comfortable waterfront vacation home which is exactly as listed. The host responded promptly and we loved being a 5 minute kayak to rogers park and upper deck. We rented a little skiff and rode through the clear springs at Weeki Wachee state park. Loved our stay.

We purchased the house around August 2019, we live on the same street our vacation rentals, we are semi retired. 18 years married we purchased and have 4 wonderful vacation rentals and we love to host them we have met many lovely guests. We have lived in many parts of Florida and this is where we have settled and will retire here, we love the area and we love all of the people on the island. It is not just an area, it is a way of life out here, most everyone knows each other and boating, fishing, scalloping is what we all do out here. Everyone has personality and hospitality and I would not want to live anywhere else.

Why they chose this property

the house sits on a canal West of the Shoal Line Rd Bridge, just around the corner from The Upper Deck Restaurant, idle speed of 15 minutes to the Gulf, there are plenty of manatees up and down the river and the manatees do come down the canals all the time. We have 4 Kayaks
Our home is a site built home Full 2 Story turned into a Duplex completely separated, No sharing of anything. Yard is separated in the back on the water and each has their own dock.

What makes this property unique

This beautiful Top of the Line waterfront home sits on one of the very few canals that is continuous flowing from small springs of fresh water keeping the water flowing on down connecting to the Weeki Wachee River, we as a neighborhood many weekends floats and swims in our canal (fresh water not salt) socialize over a few drinks while cooling of in the water of 72 Degrees year round.
