Well-equipped cottage with Nocturnal Problems

By day, we enjoyed the cottage. It had everything my family of four needed inside and outside (albeit we didn't use the canoe and pedalboat as it required too much work to carry them to the water). By night, we had problems which left all of us sleep-deprived. All four of us in three different bedrooms could hear the mouse/rat/chipmunk which was scratching against the walls in the space under the stairwell. Then on our third night, the Culligan water system gurgled and made loud noises between 2 - 6 a.m., leaving my husband and I very tired for our 5-hour drive back to northeast Toronto. Moreover, I personally found all the drivers/noises/voices from the boat launch area to be disturbing while I tried to read on the dock. However, Cameron Lake was otherwise peaceful and the brilliant stars in the night sky beautiful.
