Come enjoy this spacious home right downtown! This 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home is located downtown in North Haven. Great location within blocks from the Casino, Nebo Lodge, Waterman's Community Center, Calderwood Hall, the Landing Restaurant, and more! Our front porch offers views of the thoroughfare, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Three of the bedrooms have queen beds with the fourth offering two twin beds - perfect for children. The living room is large and comfortable with a fully stocked kitchen and a great dining room for lobster dinners.

Charming home in town

Great homey spot right in town, with walking distance to ferry and shops (you’ll need a car for grocery!). Lovely well appointed house that worked perfectly for a large group of adults.

A wonderful week and a blissful respite

The house was lovely. Communication with the owner was prompt, easy, and friendly. The WiFi was excellent. The linens were fresh. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, dishes, pots, and pans, etc. The decor was simple and inviting. Everything I needed was there. I am already looking forward to returning.

Newly renovated house in village, walk to ferry, shops, galleries & community center

This house has recently been renovated, with what appear to be all new appliances, furniture and fresh paint throughout. The other great positive is its location on Main Street, within easy walking distance to the shops, galleries, library, post office and ferry landing. The only negative was the wi-fi, which was almost non-existent. Signing in to the wifi was easy, but then the connection was really slow, and did not allow for downloads of articles or attachments. After contacting the property owner by phone and having him reset it from his home in another state, it improved slightly, but still not enough to read and send e-mails, news or attachments. I don't know if this can be improved, or if it is caused by the location of the house with no direct line of sight to the signal on the mainland. We resolved the issue by walking down to the Community Center to use the wifi there, but that was only available during the day up until 4:30 pm when the center closes, so we had no useful wifi in the evenings. If this issue can't be resolved, it should be fully revealed in the house description. My family owned a summer house on North Haven for many years, and this was our first time back since 2015 when we sold our house. Our place was about six miles from the village, on a point facing the Camden Hills. So this house was very different, but it worked well for us, since we were only there for a week and it allowed each of us to come and go independently when we wanted. We look forward to renting it again in future years if it is available.
