About this property

Peaceful Island Home

Enjoy all that North Haven has to offer while relaxing on the private deck in the backyard. In 15 minutes or less you can ride your bike to Mullen's Head park and enjoy the beaches or put your kayak in the water. My house is located on 5 private acres surrounded by fields and hardwood trees. Most renters report how much they enjoy the quite yard, big private back deck and hammock. The deck is a great place to relax with coffee in the morning or have a bbq. This is a great house for a family or two couples.
The house does have a separate studio apartment that is currently rented year round to a very private older gentleman named Dave. The apartment has a separate entry and is separated by a mud room. Dave heads off island every weekend, and works very long days when on island. Most renters say that they never see him. The wall between the main house and studio is 12”thick and very insulated, so sounds is not a issue.

Charming house, on a lovely road in North Haven, with a farm-like feel in the area. the house is clean well-equipped, and nicely decorated. We would love to stay here again.

This is a fine home with a large dining room table that permits guests to come and enjoy food, drink and company. it is out of town and so it is wonderful for long bike rides.

Beautiful quiet getaway

My sister & I rented this lovely property for 2 weeks. The owner was attentive to the 1 minor problem (a tv remote issue) and responded immediately to resolve it. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the beds were comfy. We especially loved the little library in the small bedroom - came in handy when we’d read all the books we’d brought! Would definitely rent again!

Maine Island Getaway

This was our second time staying at Becca's property. Our first was back in October of 2019 and this time around was just as comfortable. We had two families with 3 children ages 4-6. The house is perfectly situated in the middle of the island, with no neighbors (other than the cows!) in sight. Minutes away from everything you need- grocery store, village, beaches, hikes. We explored the island much more than our previous visit and fell in love with it even more than the last time. Becca is a great host who was quick to respond to any needs we had. The space is well stocked with everything you need to cook and relax. We can't wait to come back and visit this special island soon.

Quiet getaway!

House set back from road. Large open space downstairs with mostly well equipped kitchen. Not on coast but short ride to coastal areas. NH has small town feel.
