About this property

. Quiet, nice location on North Haven.The island is a great place for bike riding relaxing on the beach. The casino in town offers swimming and sailing lessons to young children. Watermans center also runs a camp program for children during summer months. During winter months there is ice skating, sliding , cross country sking. The perfect place for a family trip or a romantic getaway. This house is a single story two bedroom home with a loft. A large front porch perfect for dining and entertainment. Kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for a long or short stay. Ocean within walking distance (Mullen's Head), 4 kayaks and four bikes provided. Plenty of grass and sitting area in the front, side and back yard. There is a boat ride across the throughfare for a small fee to our neighbor island Vinalhaven which is a larger island with granite quarrys for swimming , five resturants, bank and multiply activities going on all seasons. North Haven and Vinalhaven are beautiful islands with lots of history. Biking on vinal haven is spectacular as well as north haven. Don't have rental car right now it has been retired.

Cozy and Clean

We were so impressed with the space, cleanliness and how well stocked the place was with towels, toilet paper and cleaning essentials. There is a small market on the island that had all the basics we needed. Pricey but worth the convenience. The home has kayaks but wasn't sure how to transport them and to where but we tan out of time as we were there attending a wedding with lots of friends and family. Great find. Would definitely rent again!

North Haven Splendor

Excellent property – completely as advertised. Bright, clean, with excellent amenities, including great kitchen, kayaks, and bikes. Responsive host. Location is perfect for accessing the Mullen’s Head Park, beach and trails. Five stars all around.

Karen ‘s home is modern, cozy, comfortable, well stocked in the kitchen, has thick bathroom towels, internet access that worked, and clear instructions on how to check in, check out, get around. Plus, Karen made a point of introducing herself to us in town, and was super kind and helpful when we needed to call her.
