The Space:
This charming cabin in Lost River offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Inside, an inviting atmosphere is perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor adventures. The spacious living area features beautiful wood finishes, adding to the cabin’s natural, rustic appeal.
Step outside onto the deck, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and take in the scenic views. The deck is equipped with a grill, making it ideal for cooking up a delicious meal while soaking in the surroundings. Just off the deck guests will enjoy the screened in porch with a picnic table for relaxing or gathering with friends.
For entertainment, the cabin boasts a fun and spacious game room, providing hours of enjoyment for everyone. Whether you’re playing ping pong, watching TV, or simply hanging out, the game room is a great space for socializing and making memories with family and friends. Whether you're looking to relax by the fire, dine al fresco, or enjoy a bit of friendly competition in the game room, this cabin in Lost River offers the perfect getaway experience.

Please note: To access the cabin, guests will cross a very narrow bridge over a creek. Please note that the bridge has a weight limit of 6,000 pounds. Larger vehicles exceeding this limit will not be able to cross. We recommend approaching slowly and carefully when crossing the bridge.
While the fireplace adds cozy charm to the space, it’s currently not operational. We still have a great outdoor fire pit for stargazing, s’mores, and gathering under the sky!
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!

2. Kimsey Run Lake (25 minutes away) offers a great spot for fishing and you’ll often see eagles floating overhead.
3. Blackwater Falls State Park (70 mins away): Blackwater Falls State Park is named for the amber waters of Blackwater Falls, a 57-foot cascade tinted by the tannic acid of fallen hemlock and red spruce needles. The falls, along with a few of the park’s other features like Elakala Falls, Lindy Point, and Pendleton Point Overlook, are some of the state’s most photographed spots.
4. Trout Pond (distance from house - 15 mins) A serene escape for visitors with its clear waters and picturesque surroundings. The lake is bordered by lush forests and vibrant wildlife, making it a prime location for outdoor activities.

7. Great Cacapon River (distance from house - 1.5 hours) Ideal for kayaking, tubing, or canoeing, the river winds through beautiful scenery and provides a peaceful escape. There are also some good spots for fishing along the river.
