What an amazing place! We loved the views and the privacy. The firepit and hot tub were awesome amenities. Our dogs also enjoyed the space to run and explore. It had everything we needed for a quiet weekend getaway.

Stayed at this cabin for the 4th of July weekend. The cabin was very clean and super cute!! This place was exactly as pictured, and perfect for secluded, much needed getaway!!!!! Highly recommend!

I wanted somewhere quiet and secluded to celbrate my fiances 50th birthday. This place was it. We loved it and even though during the day you can hear some traffic the view takes you away. We had a very relaxing stay and the place was super clean and organized.

We had a great time staying here. It was our second time and again was great! The house is very clean, kitchen well stocked. The wildlife, the quiet, the peace of mind - priceless. Our kids were so happy after they found out that we coming back to the "wooden house in West Virginia".There is plenty of activities you can do around, starting with tons of hiking trails, caverns and ending with local charming shops and wineries. We recommend West Whitehill Winery in Moorefield.Sadly, we had to go back home, but we will be happy to come back.We would give this property six stars if we could.

This is a great little cabin suitable for 2-4 and a dog. The owners do an amazing job maintaining the property and everything was easy to use.

Fantastic cabin with great views of the surrounding area. Loved the fire pit which had plenty of quality firewood. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need for your stay.

Perfect mountain retreat

We absolutely loved our stay here. The views were absolutely majestic, the peace and quiet was welcomed, a nicely stocked and decorated cabin, the bed was comfy, the hot tub is perfect, and the wildlife visits were wonderful. Needless to say the owners spared no expense as every detail was well thought out. We can’t wait to come stay again.

Perfect getaway!

This property was gorgeous and the cabin was stocked thoughtfully. The view was even better in person. My dog loved laying on the front porch and did not want to get in the car when we were packing to leave. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to find this gem on vrbo. This newly constructed cabin has owners that took the time to think of everything. We couldn't be happier and will be back again for sure.

Very easy. The instructions provided were point on. Really required zero interaction with anyone, but the owners left they're numbers in case you needed anything.

My husband and I were looking for a nice quiet break from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Well this exceeded our expecataions. It's even more amazing in person. And the view breathtaking!!!! Lee was very responsive and helpfu l before our arrival. We hoep to return soon!

Peaceful getaway in a West Virginia Cabin

Amazing stay at this more than amazing property! My brother and I truly enjoyed the Cabin and the peaceful surroundings with amazing views. There was no need to bring any supplies, everything was already there for us. There was nothing more we could ask for. Great movie selection too and the already setup Netflix and Hulu was super helpful. We did not want to check out. Look forward to booking again real soon. Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to getaway and truly relax.

PERFECTLY SITUATED

This is a wonderful cabin tucked away all by itself on a mountain so you get the views, the solitude and quiet of nature but in the middle from Shenandoah National Park and Winchester. There is also near Winchester this lovely Bed and Breakfast that has upscale French cuisine that is so good called L’Auberge Provencale. So from the cabin it takes 45 mins - 1hr to get to these places but the drive is beautiful and there are wineries along the way. Historical Winchester is a must see and Skyline Drive in Shenandoah is a beautiful drive. There is also a restaurant along this drive about 35 miles in which we didn’t stop at but definitely would like to on the way back. The cabin itself is fully equipped need nothing! It’s beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, each bedroom has a quit ceiling fan and windows with screens in them (which you don’t always see). They leave you with plenty of towels, linens and cleaning supplies for dishes and laundry. The shocker for us was the well stocked fire pit! They leave you with lots and lots of already cut wood! We so loved that cause we have never seen any place do that for you. The decor is beautiful and the pictures don’t do it enough justice. We really loved this place!!

Great escape

It's not always easy to find great rentals that are pet friendly, but our family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. We took advantage of the fire pit and the hot tub, and enjoyed lunch and a little bird-watching on the front porch. No light pollution, so star-gazing was fantastic. There are no neighbors...it felt like we had the mountain to ourselves. There was the occasional sound of a car on the highway below, but there wasn't a lot of traffic, so that was no big deal. We prepared most of our meals at the cabin. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with almost every piece of equipment guests might need. The only thing the owners might consider adding is a large frying pan or griddle - we had to make one piece of French toast at a time in the tiny skillet. We had dinner one night at the Lost River Grill, which was very good. We did some hiking in the area, and I would recommend the Tuscarora Trail to Eagle Rock, which was relatively short and easy, dog-friendly, and had a spectacular view at the top. We also visited the Trading Post, which was super cute and fun, and were able to find most groceries we needed at Kerr's in town, just about 10 minutes from the cabin. I would definitely recommend this place, and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

This cabin is extremely nice and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It's charmingly decorated, the kitchen is stocked with all cooking amenities, the bed was comfortable, the fire pit and hot tub were awesome and the grounds were perfect for our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the birds, taking in the mountain view and just plain old enjoying the solitude. We even had some deer visit. All around just a wonderful stay!

Just perfect

When we showed up, we were convinced that this cabin was brand new and that we were the first people to stay there. It was immaculate. Beautiful construction, very well stocked kitchen, lovely front porch with great views, super comfortable beds. And a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Highly recommend hikes in the Lost River state park, pizza and Lost & Found, and pool at Red's Broken Spoke.
