Peaceful and tranquil

We need an escape from the city. This place was perfect. The views over the farms in the valley were amazing, and a herd of dear crossed the yard several times every day.

Great house in a beautiful location

We stayed two nights at this picturesque cottage. We enjoyed the great communication and personal welcome from Diane, the thoughtful touches in the house, how clean and comfortable everything was, and of course the amazing views of rolling fields and mountains. Great location being close enough to town to enjoy cafes and the local Muse winery, but also removed enough to enjoy some quiet. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful setting and accommodations

We took a mid-week getaway in beautiful Shenandoah valley. The location of the cottage is in a perfect rural setting, with farms surrounding it and mountain views. Yet we were close enough to get to things to do, including many local wineries. Diane is the perfect hostess, very responsive and she provided helpful information on the area. We will definitely return!

This property is a gem in the Virginia hills. It's located out on a rolling hill with beautiful views plenty of privacy. The house is brand new with very simple but convenient features that has everything you need for a peaceful stay. Owner was amazing and very friendly.

This place is home away from home! My wife and I visit Shenandoah a few times a month for day trips but have been wanting to see the sunrise and sunset. Came across the celebration cottage and it was perfect. I'm sure you have already looked through the 60 photos and they are very beautiful. However, they don't come close to doing it justice. No photo ever will. You have to stay here to understand and appreciate its beauty. We stayed over a weekend and each morning we enjoyed our coffee on the deck watching the mist rolling over the mountains and each evening it was so peaceful listening to the wildlife and taking in the night sky. We didn't want to leave. In fact, we wanted to move in and stay! The town is a short 10-15 minute drive from the cottage and I recommend stopping before coming to the cottage because once you arrive you will not want to leave. Diane, who is the host, is a wonderful lady and she has made sure the cottage is your home away from home. It was decorated beautifully and you have 360 views of the mountains. You could be in the kitchen and see the mountains, in the bedroom you could see the mountains, living room, dining room, lower basement you could see the mountains. Only place you couldn't see the mountains was from the bathrooms. If you are debating on where to stay, stop debating. This is the place!!!We are already looking at dates we can go back and add a day or two to our stay.
