Peaceful and tranquil

We need an escape from the city. This place was perfect. The views over the farms in the valley were amazing, and a herd of dear crossed the yard several times every day.

Anniversary Stay

We had the best 2 night vacation in Shenandoah and this was the perfect cottage to be in. Very clean and with the best views. We will certainly be wanting to come back!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the setting is amazing! Diane is the perfect host. She gave us a lot of suggestions for things to do and we were almost able to do everything in five days! Would love to go back!

This property is a gem in the Virginia hills. It's located out on a rolling hill with beautiful views plenty of privacy. The house is brand new with very simple but convenient features that has everything you need for a peaceful stay. Owner was amazing and very friendly.

A dreamy view.

Truly, is breathtaking with all the windows to be able to see all the different views of the mountains where, including the monster window, for the kitchen was very breathtaking yes.

Weekend Getaway

The house is better than advertised. Diane is a wonderful hostess. She communicates quickly and thoroughly. This is one of the best rental experiences we have had with VRBO. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Absolutely beautiful location, great views & intentional design of the home. Settle in for a relaxing day "at home" & take a walk on a country road. Or reach hiking destinations in 20-30 mins. Enjoy neighboring farm animals & wildlife.

Scenic Getaway

Beautiful scenery and sounds around the house. The birds and farm animals made for such a scene! The pictures do not do this property justice and the basement is even finished for us to enjoy ping pong and extra space to hang out!

Beautiful home and wonderful host

We booked a few days hoping to get good view of the lyrid meteor shower, unfortunately the moon and weather worked against us, but we still really enjoyed our stay. Diane is an amazing host! She was such a pleasure to chat with and you could see she added a lot of extra little things for her guests. The house is beautiful and the views are amazing. There's a great outdoor fire pit and a large game room with a ping pong table, games, puzzles, etc. It was a great place to unplug and relax. We hope to back again soon!

Anniversary Getaway

The house was super clean and modern. Fantastic porch which is partially covered. Constant breeze and beautiful Mountain View’s. Very secluded with a great sense of privacy. Great appliances and an extra refrigerator in the basement by the ping pong table. Nice fire pit out back with furniture as well

Peaceful and Scenic Retreat

This cottage is absolutely stunning from the architecture, wrap-around porch and decor to the breath-taking views. Diane is the epitome of a Super Host. She is very welcoming and takes pride in her home and making certain her guests are comfortable and happy. This was the most peaceful and relaxing getaway. We are returning to the cottage in the Fall. We have already booked our stay.

Hilltop gem!

Celebration Cottage is a treasure. The location is outstanding with amazing views no matter which direction you look in. The house is two years old and still looks, feels, and smells new. Diane lives right down the street and very clearly loves this cottage and Shenandoah County. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. There is no dishwasher, but with views like this from the kitchen sink, you won’t mind washing dishes by hand. The fire pit was relaxing and we did make use of the grill over the fire pit on our first night. Ping pong was also a lovely treat. This was actually my wife’s first time ever playing ping pong. The bed was also very comfortable. We plan to return. We hope to be able to make this a fairly regular getaway for us.

Amazing views, super relaxing

This house has the most amazing views, We met the owner and she is wonderful, couldn't be more helpful. The house is immaculate, super private. I could spend a week just sitting on the deck! The fire pit had complimentary, wood, kindling, everything. I so hope to be back this fall. Thanks so much, my stress is gone, mission accomplished!

GORGEOUS LOCATION, SPECTACULAR VIEW

If you are looking for a peaceful, private getaway in the beautiful Shenandoah valley with a 360 degree view of mountains and farms, this is definately the place. 5 star in every way. This beautiful and well maintained home sits on a knoll with spectacular views and only the sound of birds and the occasional cow or sheep in the distance. Total relaxation and everything you need is provided. Host was very much available to answer any questions. Truly one of the best VRBO rentals we have experienced.

Breathtaking

Diane’s place is breathtaking! Windows cover almost every inch of the living spaces and let in sunlight and beautiful scenery all day. It’s easy to see she put a lot of thought into the details here, too. From the plethora of coffee/cocoa choices, to the surprise fire pit goodies, our weekend here was perfect. We’ll be back for sure!

If I could give 11/10 stars, I would! Diane exceeded all expectations- her attention to guest detail and cleanliness were best in class. She greeted us upon our arrival, provided local tourist attraction information, and ensured we had all amenities needed for a perfect stay. The photos of this VRBO don't do the serene property justice. We are already planning our next trip! You shouldn't pass this one up!

Excellent!!!

I must say, this was the absolute best stay we've had in a long time. The peace and quiet and relaxation was much needed. The views in particular were the best part. That morning sunrise and sunset was spectactular. Diane was absolutely AMAZING with her communication and was close by if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to get away for some peace and quiet take this beautiful place into consideration. We will be returning most definitely in the future. I call this place a hidden gem.
