Great place to stay! Love Diane, she truly thought of everything! The views were amazing, and there is so much to do in the surrounding area too! We will definitely try to come back!
Beautiful views, clean and well-kept property. Diane was responsive from the beginning and made our time there very enjoyable! Would stay again if in the area
Beatiful home/view, incredibly clean and quiet location and house is stocked with everything you would need in a couple days-week long stay. My husband and I love going here, and will continue to in the future! Beatiful blacony views and so quiet, its a great place to escape to!
We need an escape from the city. This place was perfect. The views over the farms in the valley were amazing, and a herd of dear crossed the yard several times every day.
Beautiful home and even better views!!! The pictures don't do justice!!! The house had everything that you could need in it. Diane is an excellent host, and i enjoyed meeting her. I will definitely be returning!!!
Beautiful scenery and sounds around the house. The birds and farm animals made for such a scene! The pictures do not do this property justice and the basement is even finished for us to enjoy ping pong and extra space to hang out!
The house was super clean and modern. Fantastic porch which is partially covered. Constant breeze and beautiful Mountain View’s. Very secluded with a great sense of privacy. Great appliances and an extra refrigerator in the basement by the ping pong table. Nice fire pit out back with furniture as well
This house has the most amazing views, We met the owner and she is wonderful, couldn't be more helpful. The house is immaculate, super private. I could spend a week just sitting on the deck! The fire pit had complimentary, wood, kindling, everything. I so hope to be back this fall. Thanks so much, my stress is gone, mission accomplished!
If you are looking for a peaceful, private getaway in the beautiful Shenandoah valley with a 360 degree view of mountains and farms, this is definately the place. 5 star in every way. This beautiful and well maintained home sits on a knoll with spectacular views and only the sound of birds and the occasional cow or sheep in the distance. Total relaxation and everything you need is provided. Host was very much available to answer any questions. Truly one of the best VRBO rentals we have experienced.
Celebration Cottage is a treasure. The location is outstanding with amazing views no matter which direction you look in. The house is two years old and still looks, feels, and smells new. Diane lives right down the street and very clearly loves this cottage and Shenandoah County.
The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use. There is no dishwasher, but with views like this from the kitchen sink, you won’t mind washing dishes by hand. The fire pit was relaxing and we did make use of the grill over the fire pit on our first night. Ping pong was also a lovely treat. This was actually my wife’s first time ever playing ping pong. The bed was also very comfortable.
We plan to return. We hope to be able to make this a fairly regular getaway for us.
My partner & I stayed in the Cottage Fri - Sun & couldn't be happier with our experience. The house was clean & quiet, with lots of sunlight. We enjoyed watching the sunrise from the wrap-around deck, & were lucky enough to see a red fox & several hawks across the fields searching for breakfast.
The host, Diane, was excellent, reaching out immediately after booking to give check-in info, recommendations for things to do nearby, and always responded very quickly to any questions. Kitchen essentials were provided, & she let us know that she had left everything needed to make s'mores if we wanted to sit around the beautiful fire pit. She even offered to meet us to introduce herself & show us around the house.
This was the perfect house for a quiet weekend getaway, especially if you plan to visit the numerous nearby vineyards (recommend Muse) or make use of the countless nearby hiking trails.
My partner & I will definitely try to book this house again, or any property Diane hosts, in the future.
My husband and I had a spectacular time during the July 4th holiday! The house is very clean and beautiful…inside and out. It is located in a rural setting with all the modern amenities including the on-demand hot shower and fast wi-fi!
Everyday we watched the sunrise and sunset, listened to the sounds of nature (including roosters, cows, and goats), and captured many precious moments. We had so much fun playing ping pong, and are inspired to purchase one at our home.
We saw many fireworks from the comfort of the deck (with no mosquitos in sight). We visited Muse Vineyards and the food was wonderful! Walmart and Food Lion are nearby. We also discovered Mowery Orchard (a farmer’s market), which sells many gluten-free products including lentils. Many restaurants/shops in the area close on Mondays/Tuesdays. Next time we will plan accordingly.
Diane is awesome! She is very caring and responsive to all our inquiries. We really enjoyed meeting her in person. She is an excellent photographer! She took a photo of us on the deck and it turned out so beautiful! We also appreciated all the detailed pictures shown online, especially the pots & pans and utensil drawer. Two thumbs up! We look forward to the next visit!
This place was just perfect for our stay. Diane was the best hostesses. She stopped by to show us around & ask if we needed anything & give us suggestions for what to do in the area. We casually asked if there was a corkscrew, she said no but I'm going into town, I can have it for you in a few hours & she did. She thought of so many little details and any she might not have thought of, just ask and she takes suggestions to heart.
The place itself is so clean and has such beautiful views. Mother nature cooperated the first morning and the sunrise on the deck was incredible. Even the cloudy sunrises over the mountains were beautiful the next two mornings. There are games, puzzles, a ping pong table for rainy days, a guidebook and lots of brochures on what to do in the area, shelves in the shower & shampoo and soap, even a really fun Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom we enjoyed listening to music throughout the main level. We drove there and tend to be chronic over packers. It was so lovely to be able to pull up so close to the doors and just load and unload. You felt like you are in the middle of the country very secluded, but just 15 minutes from the cutest little town of Woodstock and lots of wineries. We also found some flea markets and a cidery. I have a number of fragrance sensitivities and was thrilled she uses fragrance free laundry detergent on a regular basis. We would love to go back if we get another weekend without the kids, it was just perfect!
We stayed two nights at this picturesque cottage. We enjoyed the great communication and personal welcome from Diane, the thoughtful touches in the house, how clean and comfortable everything was, and of course the amazing views of rolling fields and mountains. Great location being close enough to town to enjoy cafes and the local Muse winery, but also removed enough to enjoy some quiet. We would definitely come back.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about staying at this adorable cottage from the cotton candy sunrise views from bed to the beautiful mountain sunsets. We felt so welcomed to be greeted by the lovely and sweet owner, Diane. She provided recommendations of places & things to do within a half hour drive along with a barrage of pamphlets. Downtown Woodstock is a must see for its quaint little town feel but it's truly the kind people that make it special. We had dinner and breakfast at Woodstock Cafe, ice cream at Sugar Creek to beat the heat and walked it off through Travelers Treasures gift shop. The owner was genuinely kind and had the most unique items from local vendors. We visited the award winning Muse Winery and ventured on the swinging bridge nearby. Since our stay was short, we plan to return and stay in this magical cottage nestled between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains. It truly felt like our home away from home.
Nothing short of amazing. Picture perfect! As if everything was scripted. Perfect get away. The hostess Diane is amazing and dropped by to say hello. Everyone needs to go here!
Diane has considered every detail & has maintained an extraordinary level of quality, comfort & practicality. The Cottage lends itself to the comforts of home, yet provides a peaceful retreat to relax.
We booked a few days hoping to get good view of the lyrid meteor shower, unfortunately the moon and weather worked against us, but we still really enjoyed our stay. Diane is an amazing host! She was such a pleasure to chat with and you could see she added a lot of extra little things for her guests. The house is beautiful and the views are amazing. There's a great outdoor fire pit and a large game room with a ping pong table, games, puzzles, etc. It was a great place to unplug and relax. We hope to back again soon!
Wonderful host, beautiful cottage and stunning view
Diane’s beautiful and well-appointed cottage offers a peaceful and scenic retreat in the heart of Shenandoah valley. With stunning mountain view, comfortable accommodations and excellent host.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the setting is amazing! Diane is the perfect host. She gave us a lot of suggestions for things to do and we were almost able to do everything in five days! Would love to go back!
This was just the right choice for a nice, quiet getaway. After being unable to get away for the past two years due to family and work commitments, we were looking for a place to just relax and breathe.
The cottage is nicely appointed with all the needed amenities and the views are amazing. Diane is the epitome of a great hostess and we appreciate the opportunity to chat with her. The sunrises viewed from the covered deck were spectacular.
We are already planning our next getaway.
