Our week stay at Slippery Rock Hideaway was perfect! Communication with the host was great, check-in was a breeze, the cabin was beautiful and had anything and everything we needed for a week of rest and fun, and the accommodations were superb! The spacious cabin was perfect for quiet evenings on the deck, movie time, and enjoying dinner together. I highly recommend you consider this cabin. You will enjoy every moment!

We had the most amazing stay! From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted by the peaceful mountain setting, stunning views, and the welcoming charm of the home. The property is beautifully maintained — clean, spacious, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing escape.The house itself feels like a true retreat: cozy yet modern, with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved the large windows that brought the outdoors in, the comfortable beds, and the fully equipped kitchen. The deck was our favorite hangout spot — sipping coffee in the mornings while listening to the birds and watching the mist roll through the trees was pure magic.Waynesville is such a charming town, and this location was perfect — close to hiking trails, Blue Ridge Parkway, local restaurants, and shops, yet tucked away enough to feel completely private and serene. Due to the great location we were able to be in Asheville for a great meal in 30 minutes or on a whitewater adventure within an hour. It’s clear the hosts take great pride in making their guests feel at home. Communication was easy and friendly from start to finish.We can’t wait to come back — this is truly a hidden gem in the mountains!

Beautiful property! We all loved how secluded and peaceful it was. The views of the mountains and sky were gorgeous and good for the soul. The house itself was beautiful and well-maintained. Everything was perfectly clean. The kitchen was well-stocked. We gathered in the living room with the beautiful fireplace quite a bit. And we enjoyed the big windows in the living room and kitchen that allowed us to have a mountain view, even from inside. (Plus, I'm a sucker for lots of natural light and there's so much of it in this house). The host was super on top of it when it came to communications. I had a few questions before arriving and one question during our stay. Every time, the host responded very promptly. We were very happy with our stay and would return in the future.
