Our villas are located approximately 40 minutes from downtown La Fortuna, in a more secluded area—perfect for those looking to enjoy an authentic experience surrounded by nature and tranquility.

The total drive from town is about 15 km (9 miles), and the last 7 km (4.3 miles) are on a rural gravel road. This part of the journey is truly part of the adventure: lush green landscapes, fresh air, and the feeling of leaving the noise behind as you approach something special.

We recommend a high-clearance vehicle, SUV, or 4x4, especially during the rainy season, for a more comfortable drive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Eco Sol! The view was spectacular and the bed was very comfortable! Dahana was easy to contact and very helpful. You definitely need a 4 x 4 to get there. Parts of the road are rough, but worth it when you get there! We would definitely stay here again.

Dahana es una host genial! Muy amable, atenta, y rápida en responder. El lugar es una maravilla, cuando hay buen tiempo la vista al volcán y el lago Arenal es espectacular. Muy limpio y acogedor con todo lo necesario. La ubicación está entre los cerros, y de repente hay tramos de camino campestre, pero también hay buen tramo de camino pavimentado, por lo cual nosotros bajamos y subimos sin 4X4, pero cabe notar que nosotros fuimos en diciembre/enero, temporada de menos lluvia. Es importante notar que si vienes de Guanacaste, debes ignorar las instrucciones de Google maps, y continuar como yendo hacia Tabacon, de ahí continuar hasta que veas los anuncios de The Springs Resort y subir donde calle La Fortuna. Para bajar a La Fortuna (pueblo) desde el apartamento se hace aprox 40-50min sin coche 4x4. Sin duda es un lugar al que volveríamos por la paz y tranquilidad, es un verdadero retiro para desconectar de todo.

Why they chose this property

This place in Sangregado de Venado is a piece of land that my husband's father acquired a few years ago. He and his wife are dedicated to cattle ranching, and later, when their children were grown, they came up with the idea of ​​creating a lookout restaurant, which is still operating to this day. In 2021, Doña Antonieta came up with the idea of ​​building a cabin and testing the business's profitability, and today they have 10 beautiful accommodations.

Without a doubt, the panoramic view of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal make this place unique. So does the family-friendly atmosphere, the abundant nature, the peace and quiet, and the kindness with which we welcome visitors who want to come and visit us.
