About this property

Round Pond Maine - Charming apartment for 4 with AC, WiFi and ocean view.

The apartment is on the second floor of a newly constructed home on a dead-end road. It has a separate entrance with its own balcony. After ascending the stairs, you enter into an open kitchen, dining, living area. The glass sliding doors provide a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean and a seating area on the terrace. There are many operable skylights which help with ventilation and provide lots of natural light.

The bathroom and washer/dryer are off the kitchen area opposite each other. Further down the hall outside the bedroom the space opens up into a TV area with books, puzzles and games available for our guests.

The bedroom has a queen bed, ample dresser and closet space. Extra linens, blankets, towels and beach towels are provided. There is also a TV area outside the bedroom where we added a queen sleeper sofa so that we can host more than 2 people.

It is the perfect place to unwind. Located in Round Pond, an idyllic mid-coast Maine fishing village.

The town center and dock are within walking distance, featuring a "penny" candy store, a coffee shop/wine bar and a local general store and pub.

There is much to explore within a short distance of Round Pond. Hiking trails, Damariscotta, the Pemaquid Peninsula and Boothbay to name a few.

This was the cutest, cleanest place we have stayed at. Everything you need for your stay was provided. The best welcome letter with details on everything was left for us. Perfection! Beautiful, immaculate, and spacious apartment with all the amenities one could ever need. Location was exactly what we wanted, off the beaten path, quiet, serene surroundings, and a quintessential Maine water view. It was a short drive to numerous quaint villages and to US Route1. Our hosts were wonderful, very responsive, made themselves available if needed and kept a well maintained property. Thank you for such a great visit.

Quiet, well-appointed, with a beautiful View!

This apartment is the perfect getaway for the person or couple looking to escape without hustle and bustle of southern Maine. Set in the backwoods of a tiny town with only two or so little stores, (and two Lobster pounds in less than 2 miles!), this haven has a very well-equipped kitchen, a luxurious shower, exquisite decor with amazing atention to detail, soft, silky sheets, comfortable lounge and TV areas, and a bed like gentle hands holding you through the night. From the porch you can see the bay in the distance, and a 5-to-10-minute walk down the road, brings you to a short hiking loop that will bring you directly out to the edge of said bay. While the apartment is part of an occupied house, and every once in a while, you will hear the pack of excited pugs, we hardly saw the owner, but knew if we had any questions, she would make herself available to answer them. The area is great for outdoorsy people. Not too distant, is a kayak rental company, and sprinkled all around the area are delightful hiking trails and land preserves. My husband and I had a great time and hope to return again soon.

Construction on the house was finished in 2024, and we are now working on the interior decor and landscaping; it's a labor of love. The apartment was finished first, so we lived in it while we were building and it is still one of my favorite places to get away!
