Welcome to Hickory Haven! Custom built and decorated, Hickory Haven is a perfect place to take a break and unwind. Nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac on almost 2 acres, Hickory Haven boasts 5 true bedrooms that were designed for relaxation and rejuvenation. Enjoy the covered deck, lower dining deck, or the fire pit area for s’mores and star gazing.

1st Floor:

Mudroom/Entry:
Step off the front porch into a well-appointed mudroom designed to keep all of your gear organized and ready for adventure! The mudroom has ample space to store all of your outdoor gear, from hikers and hats to beach chairs and bathing suits. The extra long bench is the perfect place to sit and take off those shoes, and there are plenty of mats to store wet or muddy boots after a long day of exploring the wilderness. You can drop clothing items right into the full sized washer or use the full sized dryer to get those beach towels ready for another day of fun!

Ski Room- Two Full Size Beds:
The Ski room boasts custom-made ski furniture. After a day hiking on the mountain trails, unwind and game with your buddies on the 55” TV. There is a PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch for you to choose from! The Ski room will appeal to kids and adults alike, bringing whoever gets to enjoy this room together for fun gaming in a retro-style retreat.

Bunk Room-Two Twin Bunk Beds (4 twins):
Designed for the little ones in our lives, pick a bunk and recharge for tomorrow’s adventures! This room has easily accessible outlets for all of their charging needs and plenty of space for cousins and friends to share!

Game room:
Let our themed game room take you back to simpler times. Mix a drink at the custom-made hickory wet bar and take in the sounds of nature on the lower deck. The mini fridge ensures all of your beverages will be cold and within reach! Snuggle up on the leather sofa and stream a movie on the 75 inch TV. Choose a board game or set a challenge on one of our arcade games and let the memories begin! We have NFL Blitz for up to 4 players, Marvel VS CamCon head-to-head arcade table, and Pac-Man Plus with 14 additional classic games for our arcade enthusiast guests!

2nd Floor:

Birch Bedroom- Queen Bed:
This bedroom was designed for those looking for a calm and serene place to lay their head at night. After a day of going hard, whether on the slopes or on the trails, coming home to rest in the Birch Room promises a peaceful night of sleep. The colors and art in this room promote that feeling of tranquility necessary for those who play hard all day!

Hickory Room-Queen Bed:
The Hickory room boasts all custom, Amish-made hickory furniture. This room was designed to bring the outside in. You will feel like you are falling asleep under the pine trees ,but with the comfort of soft linens and fluffy pillows. Sleep in on the queen size bed or stream a movie on the 55 inch TV before heading out on your adventures!

Great room:
The main living area of the home was designed to encourage togetherness. The open concept has the living room, dining room, and kitchen all together. This design ensures no one will be left out of family fun! Twenty foot ceilings and a wall of windows will immerse you in the outdoors! Watch as nature comes right up to the front door for a visit or cozy up next to the propane fireplace and stream the big game on the 58 inch TV.
Share laughs and a good meal at our custom-built hickory dining table with seating for 9. Need extra space? There is also a 93” island with additional seating.
Take a coffee to go from the coffee bar and sit on the 2nd floor covered porch. The home works hard to blend indoor and outdoor living. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, silverware/cooking utensils, dishware, cooking basics, spices, and almost everything you could ask for! There is a full sized 36” refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric griddle, and crockpot.

3rd Floor:

Bear’s Den-King Bed:
Come rest your head on our Amish-built, king size, hickory bed in the Bear’s Den. Hibernate in the coziness of the Bear Den after a fast-paced day of activities or just retreat to your den with cocktails after dinner. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with double sinks. It also includes a private workspace for those who have to ”go into the office” even on vacation. Watch stunning sunrises over the mountains right from your bed as the Bear’s Den is higher than the trees!! Hickory Haven is the 3rd highest home in Brier Crest.

Outside:
Hickory Haven is set on almost two acres in a private lake community. The home is nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac. There are days that no one but the security will travel down the street. It is so quiet and peaceful that we have a lot of local wildlife that walks through the yard. You will almost certainly see deer and you may see other various types of wildlife on the property. We have several comfortable areas for you to enjoy the outdoors without even leaving the property. You can sit with your cup of coffee or beverage of choice upstairs on the covered porch. There is a comfy outdoor patio set that is the perfect place to enjoy viewing the wildlife. The first floor deck boasts a beautiful propane fire table, the perfect spot to share stories and stare up at the stars. The deck also has an outdoor table and chairs for those who like to enjoy meals or family game night in the fresh mountain air! **New 5/25 is a fantastic Gorilla Playset! The little people in your life will be entertained for hours right outside the back door! It is the perfect place to come home to after an afternoon of exploring or swimming! We also have custom-made cornhole boards, Jenga, and GIANT Connect Four for outdoor fun! The Weber gas grill is directly off the patio, and provides an easy way to have dinner at home. The fire pit area is on the side of the house and can be seen from the covered porch. This area has comfortable Adirondack chairs arranged around the firepit and is perfect for fire pit chats, scary stories, and, of course, roasting s’mores! String lights add to the ambience of nighttime fire pit fun!
If you decide to venture further away from the house, but still want to remain in the community there are so many fun things to do at your fingertips! The amenities offered to our guests include a beautiful lake with swimming and fishing (with PA license), breathtaking views of nature's bounty and wildlife, USTA tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts, a playground area for the young at heart, a pavilion with BBQ grills, and our renovated community center. There is also a private sandy beach for swimming with a lifeguard on duty!

Wifi:
Hickory Haven has 2 gig fiber optic internet service. The password is in the Touch Stay digital guidebook that you will receive prior to arrival.

Other:
* Bed linens and towels are provided. The bed linens and towels are professionally washed and sanitized off-site between each guest’s stay. We also provide kitchen hand towels and beach towels (during the warmer seasons).
*Starter Necessities Provided: Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, dishwashing soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, body soap. We supply the propane for the fire table and grill.
* Anything that you may have forgotten or need may be ordered at Relaxed Concierge for an additional price.
* If you are celebrating an anniversary, birthday, or other special event please reach out to let me know! We love having small get-togethers and always want to help celebrate life’s important moments!
*Brier Crest requires all guests to register with the community. This will be completed once your stay is confirmed. This registration covers your entire stay and 4 cars. Additional cars are $10 each, paid for by the guest at registration. Registered guests will receive their welcome packet, wristbands for community access ,and car tags upon check-in.
* Once registration is confirmed, we will email the Touch Stay digital guidebook. This guidebook will give you all of the information about our home, Brier Crest, and the area that you will need for your stay. It will also have our contact information if needed.
*Please park in the driveway. The small space at the beginning of the driveway can be utilized for smaller compact cars. Parking is NOT allowed on the streets in Brier Crest Woods. Please be mindful of the septic area and downspouts when parking.
