Our goal is for you to relax with your family, let us know how we can help. Beautiful, VIEWS from family room, upstairs master bedroom and deck are what you will see when you look out the window (not the neighbors) Deck has dining space with a beautiful view. Also a great place for star gazing at night. Plenty of room! Camelot boasts a gourmet kitchen with custom cabinets, granite counter tops and new appliances. A media room with a 55 inch TV has been added. Camelot boarders a wild life preserve, this allows you privacy to relax with the people you came to vacation with, not random people crowding your space. FAMILY Deck Dining Priceless! The backyard is designed for family time! Family playing games in the large pool..(14ft X 32 ft,depth 3-5 feet)..(cleaned twice a week) while others play a game of corn hole (left here for your pleasure) while your grilling dinner. Or perhaps relaxing in the well maintained hot tub (two cleanings a week) time well spent! The bedrooms have plenty of room and provide a clean, relaxing place to rejuvenate after a busy day at the beach. Speaking of the BEACH... Spacious beach...for you and your family to soak up the sun and play in the surf....priceless moments! A gas grill is located near the pool area so everyone can enjoy grilling time.

Easy packing ,we supply beach toys, umbrella, beach chairs and cart for your short walk to the beach. Lifeguard during summer season posted at the beach access.The tennis court is a two minute walk from the house. You'll want to come back year after year!!


Top level master bedroom has ocean view, King Size bed and Tv . Watch the sunrise from the comfort of your bed. Just off the kitchen is a screened porch with picnic table a great place for a game of cards or to watch the sunset.
Middle level master bedroom has King Size bed, tv , deck access.
Third room has a half bathroom and 2 bunk beds (three singles one double bed).
The fourth room contains a Queen size bed and walk out to deck.
The fifth bedroom is on the ground level and has two pyramid bunks (single on top, double on bottom) with a full bathroom.
Rec room includes a large screen TV, an oversized sectional couch and a beverage refrigerator for your convenience

Begin your day watching the sunrise (beach side/back porch): End your day watching the sun set (sound side/screen porch). Consider golfing at the award winning Currituck club or treating yourself to the day spa.
Come home to Camelot where you can admire a beautiful ocean view while you unwind on the deck. Open space surrounding home provides much privacy. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach, no busy streets, no traffic! (500 ft. from door to beach walk)

Great place!

We had such a great time at Camelot. Eileen and Chris were both great with communication and accommodating us! The house is exactly as listed. Great location! Close to shopping and restaurants. We loved that the house was a bit secluded. It has everything we needed for a party of 9. Staying at this house made our OBX vacation perfect!

Great house for multi family vacation

Our stay at Camelot was great. The house was large enough for 3 families with plenty of room to spare. The beach was a short walk away and the house was really close to the grocery store store and more impotantly, the ice cream shop. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. We really appreciated all of the beach toys, chairs and umbrellas that were provided. The beach wagon was a Godsend when carting everything to the beach. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time at this house. It was clean, not a bad walk to the beach, and the pool was so nice to have. The house had a nice set up and the kitchen had everything we needed. Eileen was lovely and was able to help us with any issues that sprung up. We would definitely rent one of the houses from this owner again.

We had a wonderful week at Camelot. Easy access to the beach and having everything you need for a day on the beach is a blessing. Having your own pool is a refreshing treat after a hot day at the beach. The short walk to the beach allows you to come and go as you please. We enjoyed having coffee on the upper deck in the morning and cocktails at night. We hung out every night in the family room talking, doing a puzzle, and playing games. Enough room for us all to have our own bedroom and bathroom. Upon our arrival the last party to rent the house moved the key and Chris responded to us immediately and solved the problem. She was apologetic and replied to our text and phone call quickly to give us quick access and start our vacation.

Secluded perfection

Our entire family, six adults and four children, appreciated the perfect vacation house for our OBX vacation. The house accommodated all our needs and the property manager handeled an unfortunate appliance failure immediately. The large private pool was not heated but we used it and the large hot tub everyday. The beach is an easy walk just a couple blocks away and wasn’t hard for either the grandparents or the youngest, a 5 year old. The grocery store, restaurants, and shopping is all close by. The only improvement to the home would be to install a smart tv in each bedroom (not the bunk rooms). Our two rainy days some retreated to their bedroom and missed having a television they could stream on. The home owner provided nice beach chairs and kids boards and toys, nice addition to a fully equipped home. We would love to rent this property again if we have an opportunity to return to Corolla, NC.

Great location

Location was great, close to grocery, restaurants, liquor store, activities, and beach. About a 7 minute walk to beach. And pretty secluded house private surrounded by trees which was great. Hot tub didn’t work when we got there but after a couple days they replaced the pump and it worked great after. A lot of stairs in these 3 story homes so you’ll get your workouts in for sure. There is no linen at this house I noticed it at the bottom of description like the day before arriving luckily. I’ve worked at front desk in hotels for years and hate to leave negative things in my reviews but I hope this helps the next guests.. They didn’t give a welcome packet explaining trash, wifi, anything about the property, or recommendations, the manager just texts who ever booked it randomly throughout the week with a copied and pasted message she sends to all the properties so you have to figure out what applies to the property you’re staying at. Wifi didn’t work entire time asked about 3 times for help because simply resetting it didn’t work, didn’t receive any help. Routers only last several years and that one was really old so we had to use all of our hot spot data for the month for work but we stayed the last week of the month so that was lucky. Airfilters we’re both disgusting we replaced one and vacuumed the closet it was in since we could literally see the dust through the shutter doors of the closet. The other filter was too high to get to. Quite a few lightbulbs were out and we were having to juggle bulbs to where we needed them since we couldn’t find any spares. Mattresses were very dated and rough to sleep in but most are in these older OBX rentals. A few of the tubs didn’t drain well at all which got kinda gross. Oh and the ice maker in the fridge barely makes ice so be sure to pick up some bags before arriving. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again, we’ll just come better prepared knowing the things I listed above.

Great pool area and short walk to beach

Overall, our family had a great week long visit to Corolla. While we were there, it was super hot, so we took advantage of the nearby beach and huge pool on a daily basis. The house was clean and we had plenty of kitchen and dining items. A few items need to be addressed: WIFI was terrible, TVs outdated, living room seating needs replacing, vacuum needed to be cleaned, centipedes in the lower level. Love the location, close to grocery store and restaurants and neighborhood location of house very private. We had to have a few things taken care of and Eileen was very quick to respond.

Camelot awaits!

What a great home with a large, private pool and hot tub! Plenty of room for our family of 12 and could have had more stay with no problem. The beach access is only a 5 min walk and so worth it considering the privacy of the house and pool area surrounded by trees and nature! The grocery store, ice cream and other shops are super close for convenience. The property manager, Eileen was so nice and texted us reminders and tips several times about our stay. (We even mistakenly left our laptop behind and she quickly and kindly responded, found it and is shipping back to us). I highly recommend staying at Camelot!

Well Enjoyed Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay at The Camelot! Location was a very short walk to the beach. The beach itself was pristine. We appreciated having the beach chairs and toys provided to us at the house. The grill was another great addition. The pool and hot tub got use everyday. Our family of 6 adults and one child had plenty of space throughout the house. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Quiet neighborhood that is close enough to restaurants and shops.

Camelot

This house has many positives. The kitchen is well supplied and orderly. The lot is very private, especially the pool area. Our toddlers really enjoyed having space to poke around in the sand right by the house. The house was not perfectly clean when we arrived, but that may be a temporary COVID related phenomenon, because it was clear everywhere we went that staffing is a problem. The screen porch is buggy and there's lots of noise from the road, but overall I would recommend this house and would consider staying there again. The owner and local contact were both extremely helpful. It was also great having at tennis court in the neighborhood. Final plus was the convenience to Harris-Tetter (less than 5 minute drive away) and other food stores. For some, the presence of a life guard right at the beach entrance will also be important.

Wonderful vacation home!

Our family vacationed in the outer banks for the first time in August. This property was perfect for our large family with room to spread out and enjoy many different activities. The proximity to the beach made it easy to walk back and forth for meals and an occasional dip in the pool. Open markets with local seafood and grocery stores were conveniently located nearby. All in all a perfect vacation!

A great escape!

This was our first vacation since the pandemic. It was such an awesome time. I agree with one of the other guests —the house is spacious but cozy. It’s a short jaunt to the beach—no crowds and so gorgeous. We saw dolphins near the shore on our first day. What an awesome welcome! There is a washer and dryer which came in very handy. The top floor (3rd level) contains the kitchen, dining, and a bedroom with a lovely view. Each floor had a full bath—very convenient. The other people in the community were so friendly and we ate some delicious food —so many good restaurants (unique to area) close to the house. I can’t wait to return. Thank you Chris for being such a wonderful host!

Just the escape we needed in 2020

Really a great house, very spacious, just 5 minutes from the beach! Beautiful view, nice pool and hot tub. Everything in Camelot is as advertised and a little bit more. Chris is also a great host, super responsive and really kind and generous with our family. When we come back to OBX, we will come back to Camelot, and you should too!
