Beautiful and peaceful oasis. Perfect for our family gathering with kids 4-12, adults 22-25 & 40's, plus a few daytime guests. We particularly loved the game rooms, pickleball, fire pit area, hot tub, hammock chairs, Blackstone, espresso machine, and plentiful seating/amenities. We got to observe preying mantis eating moths, found many stick bugs, and escaped a skunk spray in the vicinity. It's close to Appalachian trails and a half hour drive to many other attractions.
Great place for a family, great communication, dirt road to house was surprising but well kept and easy to drive on. Hot tub and game room were excellent and comfy beds.
We stayed at the cabin with our daughter, her dog and our son with his wife & son.We spent a week there and there was plenty of room for all of us and there were plenty of things to do in the area if you searched. We weren't able to fine the marked hiking trails though. Perhaps a little written material on local attractions would be helpful, especially for the older generation who aren't computer savvy. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook our meals.Love the ref. Everything was so clean! The jacuzzi was a big hit as well as the pool table. We would love to come back for another family adventure.
We had a great time! Every detail was thought through. It could be valuable to include a welcome packet or binder that provides additional information such as local grocery stores, how to operate the hot tub and coffee makers. The welcome packet could also include information about the property and local area.
