The cabin was everything that was advertised. We loved the atmosphere and the gates to keep the dog on the porch were appreciated. Our host was quick to help us when we had a question about firewood and was communicative throughout our stay. We would definitely return.

Wonderful and cozy hideaway cabin that was clean, smelled good and had the most comfortable king-sized bed (felt like I was sleeping on a cloud). Host was very responsive and the cabin had everything you needed. The common area by the river was easy to access and beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Davin was simply amazing! He was so thoughtful and considerate during our stay. The cabin literally has everything you need. Peaceful and charming

This charming cabin was perfect for a short escape for our three-person family. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It is actually very close to major roadways, but feels incredibly remote and quiet. We'll definitely consider this spot for a longer stay next time.

Loved my stay here! Nice to come back to a secluded space after a day of hiking. Kitchen was AMAZING and had everything we needed. From spices to all the pans and appliances we needed. Master bed was very comfy. Loved looking at the stars by the fire pit. Brought my dog and there was a fee that I didn't see on the listing, but she also enjoyed her stay! The games and puzzles was a nice touch

What a cool little cabin out in the woods. Saw lots of deer. Nice sleeping arrangements. Clean. Nice host. Had a fire pit and guitar! Off the beaten bath but super nice when you get there. Beautiful country and so many stars visible.

Absolutely charming!! We loved everything about our stay at this cabin. The neighborhood was so serene. The house was immaculate and so, so cute. It really was a magical couple of days. We drove up from a sunny Florida to a snowy Max Meadows and Bilbos Cabin. When we walked in we were greeted by a warm fire and a Christmas Tree! What a beautiful cabin and the king-sized bed on the first floor is beyond cozy. They even anticipated the fact that these Floridians may need some extra heat, by placing space heaters throughout the cabin. Which was a good thing because temps dropped and snow fell a few times! My husband and I thought the views were amazing and we had a lovely time on both porches. It's been a long while since either one of us experienced snow and it was great to sit on the porch with an adult beverage and enjoy snow falling on the rolling hills of Virginia! Davin was great host and responded quickly to any question or concern we had. This is definitely a place we would feel comfortable recommending to family and friends!
