The Bunk House - Park Point Cottage - Stones Throw from the Beach and Canal Park

Come bunk with us on Park Point! Established in 1900, you're staying in Park Point history. With 3 generous bedrooms (2 with king-size beds) one with 2 twins, and a bonus "Harry Potter" room for that extra kiddo, you'll be able to bunk your whole crew.

Artfully designed, we hope you find the funky/eclectic style content-worthy and a place you'll keep coming back to.

Just steps from the "largest fresh-water sand bar in the North America" and also Canal Park - you will park your car once and walk/bike your way to everything.

All linens and toiletries provided, as well as laundry, parking, bikes, Solo Stove, grill, paddleboards and more.

We hope you wake up (or don't) to the horns as the Big Ships pull through the lift bridge. A one-of-a-kind view on all that Lake Superior provides to the North Shore and to the world.

Despite what the map might read, we are not on the water, but between the bay and Lake Superior on Lake Ave. There is a beach behind the garage and a beach across the street less than 1 block walk.

We loved staying at the Bunk House! Jen and Marc thought of so many details to make our stay comfortable. We loved the whimsical and fun decorations, especially the little figurines, loved the ability to paddle board on the lake, had good laughs tandem biking, and enjoyed sunrises and walks/runs on the beautiful lakewalk. We ran out of time to do s’mores and to add to the watercolor notebook, but we’d love to come back!

Charming house in wonderful location

Can’t say enough good things about this property. From the quirky decorating to the kind extras including e-bikes (perfect to avoid Park Point and Canal Park traffic), art supplies, yummy beverages, and a fire pit ready to go. Such a welcoming home. We will definitely return.

What a Beautiful Home

Wonderful home so close to Canal Park with everything to make our stay memorable!! Beds are like clouds that envelope you but if you have a bad back there are twin beds that are firmer. Window a/c's made the home so cool and comfortable when it was so hot and there wasn't any cool breeze off of Lake Superior. You won't be disappointed.

Sharing Park Point with all of you is a dream. We fell in love with the walkability of this place and also spend endless hours at the beach. We live full time in the Twin Cities until the kids are out of school...and then we'll be spending more time on the MN North Shore.

When you're at the Bunk House, you park your car once and walk/bike the rest of the weekend.

What makes this property unique

We love having the best of both beaches. We launch the paddleboards at the beach behind the garage and paddle through the canal (on a calm day only), ending up on the Superior beach across the street.
