About the host
Hosted by Ashley F

Twenty years ago, as a young Air Force lieutenant stationed in Colorado Springs, I used to drive past a stunning home tucked against the mountains. I called it the Sharp Mansion after the family that built the eastate and I dreamed of owning it someday. That dream stayed with me through deployments, cyber crises, and a career protecting the nation’s most critical systems.
Today, that dream is a reality.
After two decades in high-stress cybersecurity leadership, I chose a new mission: to build a homestead rooted in resilience, healing, and community. Sharp Mansion is now more than a home, it's a working farm, a retreat, and a place to gather.
We raise Nigerian dwarf goats, dreaming of making small-batch goat cheese, grow our own food, and welcome others to rest, reconnect, and experience a different pace of life.
I’m honored to share this dream come true with you.

Why they chose this property
Why the Sharp Mansion? Why Colorado Springs?
There’s something about Colorado Springs that has always sung to my heart.
I first arrived here as a young Air Force lieutenant, broken from sexual assault, driven to overcome, and in awe of possibilities in my new chapter with those Rocky Mountains that framed every sunrise. This city became my grounding place, even as my career in cybersecurity took me across the country and into some of the most intense, high-stakes environments imaginable.
No matter where I went, Colorado Springs called me back.
When I passed the Sharp Mansion on quiet drives through the Old North End, I felt something deep and unshakable. The historic charm, the solid bones, the way it stood with quiet strength, it whispered of legacy, of home, of a life rooted in purpose.
For twenty years, I carried the dream of owning this very house. And now, I’ve returned and ready to live that dream and build something meaningful.
The Sharp Mansion isn’t just a residence. It’s a vision fulfilled. A sanctuary for healing, for growing, for gathering. A place where the hum of goats in the pasture and the rhythm of homestead life meet the quiet strength of the Rockies.
I chose this home because it chose me first.
And I’m honored to share its next chapter with you.
