With 1 enclosed bedroom, one bedroom loft space (cozy crouch space with ~4 foot ceiling), a living room with a queen futon, gorgeous sunroom, full kitchen and a stocked bathroom on peaceful 20 acres, this retreat has everything you need for a fabulous getaway. The house as AC window units. Guests can unwind in the peaceful surroundings, take advantage of the WiFi, and soak up the charm of this hidden gem. Fall in love with the Mineral Point area and enjoy the magic it has to offer. There is ample camping space and two fire pit areas. Enjoy a lovely walking trail through the woods and a large open prairie. Find Aunt Happy’s prayer bench and oak tree with an unforgettable view of the sunset. A short 13 minutes from Governor Dodge State Park, and 10 minutes from quaint downtown Mineral Point, this hideaway is the perfect launching point for Driftless adventures. Please note we have no TV!

Perfect setting and relaxing stay

We loved this stay! Property and surrounding area was beautiful, private and quiet. We spent the 4th and didn’t hear a sound all holiday weekend. Not only is the stay fabulous so is the acres and cut trails. We opted for staying on site and spending all of our time on those trails ! We enjoyed this stay so much we are coming back in the fall !

My wife and I loved the small cottage and property. We spent hours on the deck playing cards and watching fireflies. The property seems so secluded, but is only minutes from town.

Quaint Cabin With Lots of Sleeping Spaces

This is a good spot for the area. Very quiet and private. Kids felt like they were in a true cabin with a lofted space overhead. Plenty of sleeping space with three beds. The only reason it’s not a perfect score is that the central AC wasn’t working and only a window unit was cooking the space. It would have also been nice if the AC was already running since the inside of the place was in the mid 80s when we arrived. Otherwise, there were a lot of nice touches which showed a lot of thought went into the place.
