This is a clean and secure place to stay while in town for work. They really put some thought into putting this place together. There are many restaurants and a mall within a 10 minute radius.

Our hosts were very accommodating. We had a small issue with the electronic lock, but they were very fast and very polite when responding. The house is absolutely gorgeous, with brand new interior, new facets, and state of the art electronics. I will definitely be come back the next time I come to goldsboro. Thank you guys again for a wonderful stay.

Comfortable weekend stay

I stayed here for a work trip. It was more space than I needed!, and I appreciated the clean and comfortable place to rest! For future guests, or future time visiting I would appreciate some napkins or paper towels for eating a meal in the home. Thank you for an easy process and inviting place to rest.

Our passcode to lock/unlock the door was not working and we had to call them often. There is no security or alarms. Very dark and secluded area. We had a stranger knock on door then police stopped and asked us as he was involved in an incident. After me calling owner to let them know we felt unsafe and were leaving with 2 days left on booking they NEVER EVEN OFFERED A REFUND!! Do not book here with family.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable during your stay. We would like to respectfully clarify a few points for future guests. Throughout your stay, we were fully available and responded promptly to every call and message. The door passcode experienced an issue only once and was resolved immediately. The home has a Yale smart lock, which locks the door by pressing the Yale logo on the keypad. At the time you left the property you mentioned you were unfamiliar with how the lock functioned, and we were happy to explain. Regarding the police presence, there was an unfortunate and serious incident elsewhere in the city involving three young teenagers, including a fatality, that occurred during your 2nd day stay. As a result, there was increased police activity and investigation throughout the area that day. This situation was entirely unrelated to our property or immediate neighborhood and was beyond our control. This was also the first time such an event had occurred during our hosting experience. We do not have security cameras or alarm systems on the property out of respect for guest privacy, as many guests prefer not to have surveillance during their stay. Lastly, no refund was offered because a refund was not requested at the time of departure, and the reservation was not formally checked out through the app. Had this been discussed during your stay or at checkout, we would have been more than willing to review the situation. We appreciate your feedback and always strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and responsive experience for our guests.
