About this property
Genuine Maine Coast Cottage Experience - Stunning views of Penobscot Bay
Breezing Up is a comfortable, original 100+ year old cottage with traditional cedar shingled exterior. The sunrises are awe inspiring over the ocean to the east, and gorgeous sunsets glow in the west. Convenient to nearby beaches, shopping, art galleries, museums, hiking, boating, fine dining, and all that mid-coast Maine has to offer.
Spend time in the rocking chairs on the front porch, gazing over the harbor enjoying a meal or drink with family and friends.
Enjoy a nice tub or the outdoor shower (hot and cold water), but no long showers as this original structure supports only a 20 gal. hot water heater. Small but fully functional kitchen lends itself to home cooked meals, or boiling your own lobster dinner.
Know that this is a traditional summer cottage. Several walls feature the original wood siding and timbers. There is no insulation or A/C, so summer breezes provide the only cooling.
