Located on the south end of the island, Casa De Mariposas is one of the most colorful Villas on the Island paradise of Isla Mujeres. The villa has two main bedrooms with private bathrooms, King size memory foam beds and a double sofa bed in the living room. It sleeps five but is most suitable for groups of four. The main bedrooms are on the ground floor, adjacent to the pool , and the upper floors have two open air dining terraces, spacious living room, guest bathroom, kitchen and very private roof top terrace with a Mayan wood shaded pergola. The villa enjoys wonderful views of sunrise over the Caribbean sea. Great attention to detail has been paid throughout the villa in order to make it a peaceful getaway. The location is somewhat remote, yet you are only minutes from the amenities of Garrafon Park, fine dining at superior restaurants or the luxuries of the Casa De Los Suenos Spa and there is a new restaurant across the street.

Bicycles are readily available to rent and are a great way to tour the island. For the less energetic the common form of transport is the golf cart - these are great fun and can be rented for $50 a day.

Getting to Isla is easy with a fast ferry to the mainland and various transfer options from Cancun airport.

The beaches of Isla have two different characters. The North and West beaches are shallow with white coral sand and very safe for bathing. The eastern coastline is more rugged with curling Caribbean swells and are ideal for walking and shelling.
