Walk to Historical Downtown Mystic 4 Bedroom House

2 Story house in a QUIET neighborhood, Walking distance to Pubs, Restaurants, River Cruises, Train Station, Shops and the Mystic Seaport. A short hop away is the Mystic Aquarium 1.5 miles, Casino's 20 min, and Beaches. This was my family house growing up and we are empty nester's now. We worked hard stripping and redoing the Hardwood floors, painting, and updating the kitchen with new appliances, a new counter top and sink.
It is well stocked with cooking items and spices. There is plenty of parking. A front and back porch for lots of sitting and relaxing after a day of site seeing. Yard with Grill, picnic area, lots of Adirondacks, Swings and we have a lovely view of Mystic, Birds, and a Garden. We have a Pack and Play and High Chair.
There is a washer and Dryer as well as wifi.

Excellent day what a gem I’ve never stayed at a more perfect spot. It was a pointed with everything and anything you possibly could eat, even if you forgot something. They refresh flowers, waiting for us on the table a list of places to eat things to do and it was within walking distance to the town absolutely wonderful highly recommend.

Another Great Thanksgiving in Mystic

This is our go-to place to stay over Thanksgiving in Mystic. Our family has used this property at Thanksgiving for the past several years. The host is great to work with. We will be back.

Fantastic Mystic Rental

We stayed in this fantastic cottage with another family (9 total guests) for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the house, lovely yard with fire pit, and neighbor’s goats. The house is incredibly well-stocked. We enjoyed a home cooked meal and lobster boil during our stay. The house is a short walk to coffee and ice cream as well. We highly recommend this property.

Home away from home

This place is quaint, spacious, and cozy as can be. It's somehow both secluded and close to everything. The views are spectacular and we really wanted for nothing while we were there. The owner is super helpful, friendly and really went above and beyond. Good find for a family if you can get it!

Excellent rental!!

My girlfriends and I had a perfect weekend in Mystic staying here. This property is in an ideal location, on a very quiet street with a short walk to downtown. The place feels much larger than the photos appear. This house is very well stocked, they have everything you would need and more. We are already planning to go back again next summer!

Great location; lots of charm

Stayed here for my daughter’s high school graduation weekend with family from out of town. Bob was great to work with leading up to and through our stay. The house had everything we needed and gave us the space and amenities to connect as a family since we all live in different places. The outdoor space is great for just hanging out at night and being able to just walk to downtown mystic is always good. We enjoyed watching the goats across the street do their thing also. Definitely would stay again.

Lived in house with beautiful yard and lots of amenities near downtown Mystic

We appreciated lots of things about this house including the shaded front and back porches with nice seating, hammock on the front porch, beautiful back yard and swing set + yard toys for for kids, bird and hummingbird feeders, community garden next to the backyard, clothesline, indoor toys and games for kids, outdoor eating area, the well equipped kitchen, air conditioners throughout the house. The owner had fresh flowers and a bottle of wine waiting for us. We discovered the fridge wasn’t properly cooling during our visit and the owner had a back up fridge set up for us in the morning. Would definitely stay again if we go to Mystic again.

Grandma’s porch swing!

Our family of five checked in for the Fourth of July holiday. We were pleasantly surprised by the family friendly tools…bath toys, a changing pad, pack and play, an arsenal of a library, games, movies, swings, outdoor games. The home felt like we were staying at our grandmas house in the warmest way. I grew up in this town and this rental is steps from my parents house. It is such an easy walk downtown (prepare for a hill) with a stroller and right up the hill from CVS which came in handy for Tylenol and milk in a pinch. The home was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were a bit cramped but that comes with an historic home. Overall it was lovely and we would return. Owners were responsive and friendly but not invasive. It felt like it was ours for the week!

Perfection!

Our family of 5 adults and 2 children (ages 2 1/2 and 5 1/2 years) stayed at this PERFECT home. Not only was the home beautiful, comfortable and clean, but every possible need was provided for. The hosts clearly have put a lot of thought into making sure that all the bases are covered. A/C and ceiling fans kept everyone cool and happy. And the hosts welcomed us with a lovely bottle of wine! My two grandkids fell in love with the backyard swings as well as the porch swing and hammock. We all had plenty of room for running around and playing backyard games, including croquet. And it was a special treat to have so many children's books to choose from for bedtime stories. We didn't visit typical Mystic tourist attractions but instead enjoyed time at local beaches recommended by the host. Esker Point and Williams were perfect for small children and had plenty of free parking. Williams also has a nice, small playground but the grandkids really loved Tercentennial Legacy Playground in Groton, just a 10-15 drive away. It is quite large and has a wide variety of equipment that is accessible to children of all abilities. Most of our meals were eaten at home in the well-equipped kitchen but we did have a couple fantastic dinners out. We all really enjoyed the seafood offerings at The Mariner in Mystic and at Ford's Black & Blue in nearby Noank. All in all, we had a PERFECT stay at 1 Summit in Mystic! Kudos to the wonderful hosts!

Great stay

The house was very clean, location is close to town and any questions were answered very quickly by host Bob. The hill back up from town was a little difficult for me (senior)but everyone else was fine with it, stay was great. The porches and fire pit were nice features for relaxing in the evenings.

Stay in Mystic

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! It was a beautiful, well cared-for home, and the hosts thought of so many things to make the stay successful. There were personal touches all over the house, the coffee and wine left for the family was a huge added bonus, and it was just a perfect, cozy place for our family to gather! This VRBO is very child-friendly too! Our two year old came with us and there were kids books and toys she loved playing with throughout our stay. I could say so many amazing things about this home and the hosts, but I’ll just say that the next time we stay in Mystic we will absolutely stay here! Thank you!

Absolutely Perfect

If you have a wedding to attend at the Haley Mansion, do not hesitate to book this house. The location is convenient to everything Mystic has to offer, including walking into town. The house was comfortable, clean, and communication with the owner easy. I can’t recommend this house more whether you are staying with family or friends.

Perfect home away from home

We loved our stay! There are plenty of bedrooms and a very well stocked kitchen. The walk into town was only 10 minutes and the walk home up the hill helped burn off the calories from our trip to the Drawbridge for icecream! And we enjoyed watching the goats across the street. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and the house is very clean. It really felt like our home away from home!

Fantastic house!

The house exceeded our expectations. Clean, well appointed and stocked with everything we needed including stuff for my grandkids. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the water. We had a great time and highly recommend this lovely home. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Great Family Home

Love this home, it was so comfortable and charming to host our family for our daughter’s graduation. It’s always nice to have a bottle of wine waiting upon arrival, throwback to first Paris VRBO 14 years ago. The backyard was perfect for family relaxing, chatting and napping. A wonderful stay

Mount Summit exceeded all our expectations! The house is quite spacious and the photos really don’t do it justice. We rented Memorial Day weekend for 8 visiting family members with ages ranging from 5-79. There was plenty of space, seating, dishes, kitchen supplies and comfort for all. Kids and adults alike loved the outdoor space, especially the awesome tree swings and porch furniture. Beautiful sunsets, proximity to downtown, plenty of parking and great communication with the host make this a place I would rent every time our family visits. Highly recommend!

Christmas Weekend

There were 8 of us. We all enjoyed this property. The owners were great and the house was decorated for Christmas, we loved it! Having the amenities such as a few condiments, and a few other things, was very nice! It is close to everything that we went to see. That was really nice! All the beds were comfortable! Owners quick to respond on any questions I had! Definitely would go back!!

Mystic Thanksgiving 2023
