Mandeville is home to this holiday home. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Fontainebleau State Park and Saint Tammany State Game Refuge, while Lake Pontchartrain Basin Maritime Museum and H.J. Smith & Sons General Store and Museum are cultural highlights.
Wonderful property and excellent host! The home itself is fully renovated and gorgeous throughout the entire interior. It has all of the helpful details, like a nicely stocked coffee and tea station. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfy. The master bathroom is large with a fabulous shower. We loved the pool - perfect size, warm and a nice shaded area with tables to get out of the hot sun. The host was incredibly accommodating! We were in town for my mom's funeral services and we had a number of specific requests and he was gracious in meeting all of them and responding to our needs. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.
Scott was an excellent host. The property is absolutely gorgeous and was great for the family. I would absolutely stay there again and look forward to planning my next trip.
Home was even more beautiful in person! Nice back patio and pool area. I wish it had been warmer during our stay so we could have used the pool! We enjoyed this newly renovated home. Scott was very easy to work with and responsive.

Thanks for that great review! I would live to host you again!
Excellent location—close to amenities and the causeway bridge. The house was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. The carport is a nice feature for keeping your vehicle protected, though you may get wet walking from the car to the house. The home is pet-friendly, which we appreciated, but we did need to pick up a few delicate rugs due to pet hair concerns. One challenge for us was that the fenced backyard is not directly attached to the house. We brought a dog playpen to block a couple of open areas so our dog could access the yard more safely. The pool area is not fully enclosed and opens into a very large yard. Due to heavy brush and limited visibility of the back fence, we felt a bit uneasy letting our small dog (cocker spaniel) roam freely. Because of rainy and cooler weather during our 3-night stay, we didn’t use the pool.Overall, a clean and comfortable home in a great location—just something to be aware of if you’re traveling with a small dog.
This house was so cute and comfortable. The pool was a great bonus. If we had been traveling with a dog there was a nice fenced in yard too! We were close to the family we were visiting and easy access to the little town of Mandeville with restaurants and shops and the lake front.
Scott’s place was very conveniently located. It is probably the cleanest property I have ever stayed at. It’s a precious house with a great layout. 10/10 recommend and I can see us booking again in the future.
