The stay was great, the host was reachable anytime we needed assistance. The key was a little hard to get out of the lockbox when we first arrived though. Nice, quiet neighborhood which was nice considering we traveled with kids. Would stay again.

My family and I really liked staying here for my sister’s commencement weekend!! It’s such a cool place. The apartment was very spacious, pretty and clean, and in a lovely neighborhood with lots to do. The kitchen, rooms, and bathrooms were stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay, so don’t worry about packing too much. They even had streaming platforms already set up on the large tv for your enjoyment! Keep in mind, after you book on Vrbo, in order for the property management to approve you and confirm your booking, they require a few extra steps/forms. In addition to the background check with your license, they do require lots of additional information from you and all your guests, such your guests’ names, their ages, the cities they were each flying in from, the relation of each guest to you, and the reason for your stay, etc. It did make booking more tedious and particular than any other places I’ve booked over the past decade, but this is probably the norm with Vrbo(my first time). The instructions for the extra steps were straightforward, clear and digital, so it wasn’t crazy complicated, it just took more time.Overall, I had a lovely time here, and I highly recommend it!!

Nasty Apartment

The check in process was not smooth. We arrived at the location an hour past check in time and the key fob that we were supposed to get from the lock box was missing. Called them and was told to go to a back up lock box for another fob. At this point we’re already concerned about safety issues. After locating the backup fob we then went to go to the unit and the hallway leading up to the apartment is filled with furniture and trash from another unit. As soon as we walked in the apartment, the place reaked of cat pee smell. The place was not clean. The overpowering smell is enough for us not to stay there. It was an awful experience. If I could take a photo of how bad the smell is, I would’ve done so.

Wonderful Stay in Chicago

This apartment was a great place to stay in chicago. The home was very clean and orderly. Each bedroom had a comfortable bed. 2 bedrooms have a bathroom attached. We did not need to use the kitchen, but it did seem like it had plenty of supplies. The living room was a great place to relax at the end of the day. There was not much parking available near the apartment. We used the Spot hero app to find local parking, which was about a 10 minute walk. This aparment is on the second floor (3 sets of stairs up), which is not listed in the description. This would be good information to know, since we had an elderly person staying with us and it was difficult to get them up stairs. The Check-in process was a little odd. The managment company had some weird questions like who exactly was staying and their ages, which I feel like is a little much. We also had to call when we arrived to have the key fob activated. It would have been better if it was activated at the time we said we would be arriving. There were a couple of safety concerns... The front gate was open, later we found out it was broken and did not lock. We were told to call the company to be able to gain access to the building. We asked if this was needed each time we wanted to enter and were told no and that the fob would give us access. Later we found out the door into the building was just unlocked. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. The place was lovely and comfortable.
