The home was set up perfectly for our family. Everyone had a comfy bedroom and there were multiple family living spaces to spread out. We enjoyed our stay. Cozy home!
Was home for a football game with several friends. Plenty of room to spread out. Everyone had their own space. Close to a lot of south side “must-dos.” Neighborhood was quiet.
We enjoyed our time in Chicago. The house was great and had lots of space. It was easy to get to and from downtown Chicago. Check in and communication was great. The parking was street parking but we never had an issue finding a parking spot. There wasn't really anything within walking distance but that was fine. Overall this was a perfect place for our family.

The host could have been a little more respectful. A lot of comments were made in regards to me requesting some compensation back after coming to the property to my shoes being damaged from a portable air conditioner that blowed out hot air and water on the floor. The portable wasn’t connected to the outside windows to flow in air and the host said “I could have stuck it out the window myself”. Cleaning could have been more tidy however, I wouldn’t blame the hosts for cleaners mess up. Overall, nice home. Hot water is good. but upstairs is extremely hot.
Downstairs bathroom shower was dirty with hair in shower.

In our pursuit of maintaining high cleaning standards, it is possible to unintentionally overlook certain areas. When renting a space, if you encounter any issues, bringing them to the attention of your host promptly can facilitate resolution and improve the experience for both parties, rather than waiting to leave a negative review.
Overall, we had a great stay and would consider staying here again. The location was excellent—about 20 minutes from the Field Museum and other attractions, making it convenient for our trip. Check-in was quick and easy, the neighborhood was incredibly quiet, and street parking was plentiful and hassle-free. The home itself is beautiful, and the amenities provided made our stay comfortable. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some cleanliness concerns upon arrival. There were dishes left in the drying racks, hair on the bathroom floors, and crumbs and sand on both the downstairs couch and the living room seating area. The downstairs bathroom also had a slight mildew-like odor. While these issues weren’t enough to ruin our stay, they were noticeable and kept the property from feeling truly guest-ready. With a little more attention to cleaning details, this would easily be a 5-star rental.
