Chris was a great host, he set up a great space for all sorts of travelers just outside of downtown Chicago. Plenty of space and amenities to make the stay feel like home away from home! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

We are absolutely thrilled with this stay. The host ( his wife and sweet little boy) were fantastic! They attended promptly to any questions or needs we had with kindness and care. The place was clean, well maintained, and extremely comfortable. I will definitely book with them again! Incredible experience!!!

Chris , himself, was a delight to work with. He was responsive and kind. Due to a water issue, we did not stay in the apartment that we booked and that is why I only gave 3 stars. The apartment we did stay in, was not set up and ready for renters. That was the reason for only 4 stars. There were personal belongings (wet towel, toothbrush in the shower, etc) out and refrigerator/freezer were being used. It wasn’t a big problem for us , but I didn’t appreciate being told we were being “upgraded” at no charge-as if we were getting a deal. I specifically looked at the listing to know if I should bring a hairdryer and this turned out not to be available in the “upgrade “. It is not handicapped accessible- not an issue for us, but it would be for some. The brownstone looks nice from the outside and doesn’t really match the surrounding area. Good proximity to the Obama museum.

Thank you to Chris for being such a great host!! The space was perfect for our family wedding weekend with great space for company and gathering with plenty of room for our large group. The location is perfect for getting to the Obama Center and the South Shore Cultural Center. Bonus on the off street parking and comfortable space.
