The location was great, close enough to the lake to enjoy but far enough away that you did not have the traffic or congestion. The pool was a hit with the kids and there was plenty of room for everyone.

This is down a gravel road and more than half a mile from the boat ramp. Which is not as advertised. The host was great. The house needed some maintenance lots of lightbulbs out, cobwebs in corners, and the air conditioning had to be fixed during our stay, which the host did as soon as we notified him. The parking was good for a boat, pool was clean and nice.

Property description doesn’t list it’s down approx 4 miles of gravel road at a dead end! Entry code wouldn’t work. Had issues trying to find a number to call after sending two emails to host. Floors and rugs thought out the house were dirty upon our arrival. King size bed room - discovered bugs under the bedspread and black beetle things in the bathroom. Air fryer was grossly filthy with what appeared to be grease and mold! Fridge had bunch of old condiment jars and such in it. Outlet on the north side of living room wouldn’t work. Some silverware had food left in them like they weren’t washed. I paid a 250 cleaning fee. This property was not cleaned and had bugs and other issues as well! I would not recommend anyone to stay here. I will not be back!

We’re disappointed to see this review, as we were not made aware of the majority of these concerns during the stay. The only issue the guest contacted us about was the entry code, which was resolved within ten minutes of the first message we received. We would have addressed any concerns regarding cleanliness, amenities, or anything else during the stay if we had been made aware of them and given the opportunity. We encourage guests to contact us during their stay so we can make things right whenever needed.

The house was clean, with a nice open floorplan. We stayed with 7 people and there was ample room for all of us. The pool was great, close access to the lake. We would definitely stay again.

He went above and beyond by even helping with the pool, which was incredibly thoughtful and greatly appreciated. It’s rare to host someone who is not only considerate but also willing to lend a hand.
