About the host
Hosted by Andrew Clark

Our family has been coming to Wolfeboro since the 1950s, our parents started enjoying the lake region in their teens. We started coming the 1970s, spending summers here, going to camp nearby, playing countless hours of capture the flag, learning how to waterski, fishing, swimming, working in restaurants as we got older or being camp counselors, and then bringing in our children to these magical memories as well. After having a place on Winnipesaukee in the 1980s and 1990s, we moved to Wentworth in the late 90s. My wife and I were married on the property and it has been the summer destination for all the children, nieces, nephews for years. Unfortunately, our mother can no longer be here alone as she would like and our father has passed, so we have opened our family's home to let other families and friends create their own unforgettable memories.
Why they chose this property
We spent many years on Lake Winnipesaukee in the Wolfeboro/Tuftonboro area and adored our memories there but the lake got too crowded and busy. We wanted more peace, more quiet, and more privacy. Lake Wentworth is a gorgeous quite lake. While smaller than Winnipesaukee, it is much closer to the On Golden Pond feel. Having 17 acres ensures privacy on the property and a beautiful connection to nature. There are many different places to enjoy and experience on the property from the gorgeous fields, the marsh with its abundant aquatic life (herons, frogs, bald eagles, fish, king fishers, etc.), to the pine forest, to the beach and lake were the waters await you for adventures on the kayak and canoe or on your own boat that you bring or rent and keep at our dock.
What makes this property unique
The privacy and nature on this property make it unique. A large gorgeous deck with views of the marsh and lake is a perfect sanctuary for yoga, sun bathing, reading, corn hole, dinners on the grill, and late night star gazing. The hot tub brings beautiful relaxation at any time of day. The chefs kitchen, that is truly a family's kitchen, not a rental kitchen, brings incredible joy to those who love to cook and be with family and friends. With Top of the Hill Farm 5 minutes away, local sourced meat, fish, produce, and many other items are always ready to be transformed into your culinary delight. Wandering along the roads and paths, under the trees, reading on the stone patio by the lake, kayaking in the early morning mist or to catch the big one, all bring great solace and wonder.
