About this property
Private 6-BR Retreat on 12 Acres with Mountain Views
Summary:
Tucked into the hills of Dorset, Vermont, Green Haven is a peaceful escape set on a sprawling 12-acre estate just minutes from Manchester. Once a thriving apple orchard, this serene property now offers two distinct and beautifully appointed homes, a luxurious 4-bedroom main house and a cozy 2-bedroom cottage, perfect for families, friends, or creative retreats looking to reconnect with nature in comfort and style.
The Space:
The main house features four spacious bedrooms and four full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace, a pool table, and two smart TVs. Every detail, from 300–450 thread count sheets and plush mattress toppers to ample indoor and outdoor lounging areas, has been thoughtfully curated for comfort and ease. One bedroom includes two twin beds that can be easily converted into a king using the provided converter kit.
The cottage, just a short walk down the path, offers a bright open layout with two inviting bedrooms, one full bathroom, and a cozy living space complete with fireplace and picture windows that frame the surrounding forest. It’s ideal for small families or guests looking for a bit of privacy within the larger estate.
Together, the homes comfortably host up to 13 guests and offer access to forest paths, tranquil mountain views, and the charming nearby towns of Dorset and Manchester.
Essentials to know:
- High-speed Wi-Fi covers both homes.
- Ample parking, including a 2-car garage and spacious driveways.
- Septic system, please only flush septic-safe toilet paper.
- Keep doors and windows closed while using AC to avoid ceiling leaks.
- TVs are smart-enabled, guests can log into their streaming apps (just don’t forget to log out!).
Whether you’re gathered around the fire, cooking a meal together, or simply soaking up the quiet of Vermont, Green Haven invites you to slow down, breathe deep, and make yourself at home.
Dogs are permitted on a case by case basis subject to breed and weight restrictions. Please message us if you are interested in bringing your furry friend.
Absolutely no smoking, vaping, or use of marijuana products. Use of these products will result in an additional $1500 cleaning fee.
The property is equipped with a doorbell camera at the front entrance and an additional camera inside the detached garage, which is used to confirm trash pick-ups on Wednesdays.
Guest Access:
Accessible with smart lock; no contact with host required.
You'll be able to access all living/sleeping areas aside from the north end of the house (everything shown in the pictures).
The Neighborhood:
