Kulakane Resort is a West Maui vacation rental property, located just a few miles north of historic Lahaina Town. Your Maui vacation can be enjoyed in one of our beachfront one-or-two bedroom condos which come fully furnished and equipped for your vacation.

Each oceanfront condo at the Kulakane Resort is unique because it was furnished and decorated by its individual owner. Individually decorated, each condominium offers a complete kitchen, free cable TV and free local telephone.

Kulakane Resort offers beautiful and affordable West Maui vacation rentals. All of the condos at the Kulakane Resort are located beachfront and offer a direct ocean view. We combine all the comforts of home and make Kulakane Resort your Home away from Home in paradise.

Kulakane Resort owners typically stay in their own units for at least a month or two each year, so they furnish their condominiums more like homes than vacation rentals.

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at The Kulakane several times in the past 40 years as well as many other condos in the Honokowai area only because of non-available Kulakane when I needed the booking The Kulakane is the best if you want a clean, quiet, well maintained somewhat older property to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. It cannot be beat.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed in better appointed Kulakane units, though this one has newly installed floors. I am informed it is up for sale. Too bad the County of Maui is dragging it's governmental feet regarding repairs to the seawall and the area right behind it. 3 years is ridiculous

I am happy to be living in paradise and I live on the property that I manage. When guests book any of our condos, I will be here to greet you personally. I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

Why they chose this property

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

What makes this property unique

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
