Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All in All ok ... They have taken away the smoking section which was always nice . The condo it’s self needs some updating....throw rug needs replacing, the chest of drawers in bedroom need cleaning or replaced (they have a mildew smell and gets on clothes) I brought air fresheners this time however it didn’t help much 😩 your clothes will start stinking . Pillows are flat . Just needs some TLC by the owners !!

Perfect spot!
We stayed in Unit 108 at the Kulakane in Lahaina for 7 nights. You can't beat the view and location. And, all the folks we met were so friendly and welcoming. Many repeat visitors. We made new friends. The property managers were just wonderful! The condo was comfortable, but a bit dated. Perhaps a deep cleaning might be in order. Would stay at the Kulakane again, but would try another unit. Overall, a terrific stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We LOVED our stay at the Kulakane and this is the only place we will stay in Maui going forward! Debbie (the onsite manager) is fantastic too. Only thing that could be slightly better is the unit we were staying in (108) could use a new mattress and pillows.

I am happy to be living in paradise and I live on the property that I manage. When guests book any of our condos, I will be here to greet you personally. I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

Why they chose this property

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

What makes this property unique

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
